Faith and Trust

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of thins not seen. Hebrews 11:1

So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and leans not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Psalms 91:11, 12

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Galatians 5:6

One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. Proverbs 28:9

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:22

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land and verily thou shalt be fed. Psalms 37:3

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. Luke 9:24

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10

He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him. 1 Chronicles 5:20-21

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:7

Hearken, my beloved brethren, hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? James 2:5

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou has wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Psalms 31:19

Continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard. Colossians 1:23

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraided not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. James 4:8

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. . . . Psalms 46: 1

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17, 18

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by that which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Hebrews 11:7

Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:25, 26

He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalms 1:3

To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. Isaiah 66:2

Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalms 27:14

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Psalms 60:4

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8

And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. Leviticus 20:26

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48
