Easter, Feast of the Resurrection, is Rome's counterfeit holiday for "Feast of First Fruits," the prophetic feast day fulfillment of the resurrection. This colorful amalgamation of pagan myth and Biblical truth has taken the whole world captive, corrupting the inherent facts, legitimacy, and prophetic application of the work of our Saviour on mankind's behalf in restoring His faithful back to Himself.
Have you ever wondered why Easter Sunday is not permanently located on a specific Gregorian calendar date each year? This is because Easter Sunday is the foundation stone, and the fabricated origin of the modern calendar's "Sunday" as well as the "continuous weekly cycle." For both "Sunday" and the "unbroken weekly cycle" to appear to have existed since the dawn of creation, Rome felt it was necessary to "fix" them both to the resurrection day of the Messiah, at least in the minds of the people.
Easter Sunday is declared by Rome to be the first Sunday following the full moon that occurs after the vernal (spring) equinox. Neither this rule of law, nor the planetary weekly cycle beginning with Sunday, existed prior to the Council of Nicaea (A.D. 321-325). It was at this council that this modern practice was conceived and put into law by Constantine for the purpose of eternally linking "Sunday" and the "planetary week" with the Bible through this most sacred event of the Messiah's Resurrection. So, by default, Easter is calculated from the New Moon, with the added stipulation of occurring on the first Sunday following full moon. Although, this method of locating the true Resurrection date is bogus, it still achieved its desired effect.
The Gregorian calendar, with its planetary weekly cycle, is diabolically opposed to the Biblical lunisolar calendar. Rarely, but on occasion, Rome's Easter Sunday will occur on the same day as the Biblical Feast of First Fruits (Raysheeth), the true day of the Messiah's Resurrection.
So why does Rome continue to calculate the placement of Easter by the moon? Because, by doing so, they can create a distraction from the truth, causing the world to believe it to be in sync with Scripture and wrapped in the light of truth. Such a diversion strategically placed will cause so many to never comprehend the importance of the Biblical Feast days. Their eyes will be blinded to the prophetic role these feast days play in pinpointing the Messiah's time-centric step by step progression through the heavenly Sanctuary in restoring mankind back to the Father. Ultimately, many souls will be lost, as their path to the cross of Calvary is derailed and detoured by Rome's proactive mixing of truth with error.
Easter has been stated to be the most holy day of Roman Catholicism, but not just because of the Resurrection. Their version of the sacred Resurrection has been scrambled in with Easter eggs, fertility bunnies, and pagan mythologies of sun worship. It is then desecrated further as it is proclaimed to have occurred on holy "Sun" day, of the pagan Roman Julian calendar, in honor of Tammuz the sun god. Easter Sunday has come down through the ages as Rome's monument to her cleaver craftiness in connecting the events of the Biblical Crucifixion and Resurrection with her own pagan calendar invention, followed after by the whole world. On this modern pagan calendar, every day of every year honors a false god in place of the Creator. The true Resurrection of our Messiah and Saviour is likewise marred by its association with the veneration of the "Sun" day in honor of the reincarnated Tammuz.
If the proverbial blinders were removed so the unsuspecting might get a glimpse of the truth, would they take note that neither Saturday nor Sunday have ever been holy days according to Biblical lunisolar time reckoning? It appears this is the greatest scam ever to see the light of day, as calendation truth was proactively swapped for fiction globally. As a result, the whole world has come to believe a lie.
This change from the luni-solar to a fixed solar calendar occurred in Rome during the repressive measures which were enacted against ALL Jewish customs . . . during the reign of Emperor Hadrian. With the fall of the Nazarene headquarters...at Jerusalem, this new Roman calendar quickly spread throughout 'Christendom.' This new calendar not only replaced yearly festival dates such as Passover, but it also revamped the concept of the week and its seventh day. Iranaeus 2nd Century A.D.
The invention of the continuous week was therefore one of the most significant breakthroughs in human beings' attempts to break away from being prisoners of nature [and from under God's law] and create a social world of their own." The modern seven-day [cycling] week came into use during the early imperial period, after the Julian calendar came into effect, apparently stimulated by immigration from the Roman East. For a while it coexisted alongside the old 8-day nundinal cycle, and fasti are known which show both cycles. It was finally given official status by Constantine in 321. Most theologians and some scholars assume that mainstream Jewish society, at the time of Jesus...was practicing a fixed seven-day week which was the same as the modern fixed [cycling planetary designations] seven-day week. This is extremely doubtful. The change, from a lunar to a fixed week, was brought about by the power and influence of Rome. Many people assume it is the modern Gregorian calendar that existed at the time of the cross, or at the very least what ever calendar it was, they believe, utilized the 7-day continuous weekly cycle. However, the Roman calendar existing at that time was the old Julian 8-day nundinal cycling week calendar, as it was the one crafted in 45 B.C. Until Constantine changed the length of the week in A.D. 321, it was the only official length of week utilized by Rome. Since Biblical scholars will never be fooled to believe the Israelites or Hebrew people kept a seventh-day Sabbath on an eight day week, there is no contest. Therefore it is necessary to expose the lie that a seven day cycling week, a later invention of Rome, simply cannot harmonize with the Biblical lunisolar week that is beaconed and refreshed each month by the New Moon.
Most of the world today bought into another falsehood promoted by Rome, declaring the year of the Cross and Resurrection to be A.D. 33, instead of A.D. 31. This is all because of what occurred in the early 18th century. That is when Sir Isaac Newton published his book, "Observations Upon the Prophecies of Daniel and the Apocalypse."
Because of his assertions that the (Roman Gregorian) "Sunday" could not coincide with the 16th of Abib in A.D. 31 or A.D. 35, the Catholic Church opted to change their historic record from A.D. 31, and instead declared the year of the crucifixion as A.D. 33. This was accomplished just so "Sunday" would coincide with the lunisolar resurrection, all the while maintaining the illusion that she was the true Christian church, as it was founded on the Sunday morning resurrection of Christ. This is why the Sunday keeping Roman Catholic Church today and most Protestant churches cling to A.D. 33. Make no mistake, if Sunday could not be harmonized with A.D. 31, then neither could Saturday, the day that preceded it. The problem was not with the year after all, but only with the erroneous pagan cycling planetary week that was used in Newton's research. His assumption that the seven day week cycle existed during the time of the Resurrection, led to his applying "a square peg into a round hole." The Gregorian week can never be harmonized with the lunar seven day weeks, because the lunar week cycles restart after every New Moon. This was no small matter with ripple effects that have followed for nearly 300 years.
Sir Isaac Newton, in his book dismissed all Julian years, as viable crucifixion years, that did not align Abib 14 with a Friday, and Abib 16, with a sunday Resurrection stating:
Newton admitted his own "assumption" that the crucifixion occurred on a Friday, even though it is a known fact today that the early Julian calendar week consisted of a revolving eight day week, which would have placed Friday, Saturday and Sunday on a different day sequence altogether. Second, the earliest seven day week cycle that was later adopted, had a different order for its days than it has today. Friday on that calendar was the seventh-day and Saturday was the first day of the week. So it is seen that Newton himself was a victim of current Roman calendar dogma even though he was mathematically and astronomically proficient. Newton was using his knowledge of both to align the lunisolar calendar with a man-made calendar that was neither in place, nor used by Scripture whatsoever, therefore his final conclusions were hopelessly flawed.
His research reveals the reason why the Catholic church changed the Resurrection date in history from A.D. 31 to A.D. 33. The very fact the "church" necessitated this change, to harmonize their holy day "Sunday" with the lunisolar calendar, demonstrates the Papacy's knowledge of the supreme importance of the Hebrew lunisolar calendar. Still greater than this is the fact that the "CROSS" of our Saviour is the truest test of accurate Biblical lunisolar timekeeping.
The calendar below is an overlay illustration of two calendar models, the Biblical lunisolar specifically for A.D. 31, with the date of the Cross and the Resurrection and the man-made Roman Gregorian. The lunisolar calendar portions can be easily identified as they coincide with the lunar phases across the top. Each lunar month has the same starting point following the first visible crescent New Moon. In contrast, the Roman calendar days are in black font and the months are in black boxes. Saturdays are branded in a light green color and Sunday is the next day. Notice how the Roman Gregorian months, weeks and dates float through the lunisolar calendar.
For fifteen hundred years the earthly tabernacle/temple services illustrated as a visual aid, the promised Messiah to come, depicting redemptions ordained method for restoring mankind back to their Creator. Each feast day represents a change in His ministration according to the 7000 year plan of salvation, synchronized only to lunisolar time.
The Passover week, as well as the other holy days listed in Leviticus 23:1-34 do not come from the Jews, but from the heavenly Father, and are therefore ordained for all mankind. Salvation is a free gift to all and not simply the Hebrew people. However, the Hebrews did play a significant role in Biblical history, and as long as they were faithful to all the heavenly Father's times and laws, they were given the honor of bearing His oracles of truth upon earth.
These divine oracles of truth, which had at one time been bestowed upon Israel for the express purpose of sharing with the world, He would like to write on each heart today. They would only be safe within the borders of His covenant agreement. Israel's story of unfaithfulness is our story, and their captivity in Egypt, Babylon and Rome, is our captivity. Today the whole world unsuspectingly is in captivity under Roman rule through her crafty substitution of all the Creator's units of time, including the calendar. But our Saviour has succeeded thus far in His plan to restore all things to those who desire it and are willing to obey His original divine covenant. Only to those who are eager to enter into His covenant will He impart His sacred and holy oracles of truth. These oracles of Yah's truths are the only key that will set Rome's "prisoners of time," free at last.
The old covenant was illustrated upon, and fixed to the preset foundation of lunisolar time-keeping in the earthly temple services, and was based upon promises yet to come to pass (Romans 9:4; Romans 15:8; 2 Corinthians 1:20; Galatians 3:16, 21; Hebrews 8:6; 2 Peter 1:4). The reason the system of sacrificing animals came to an end at the cross, was because it was only at the cross that the promises could end, as the risen Lamb, Yahushua, fulfilled what was prophesied on His behalf.
Absolutely nothing that was nailed to the cross, terminated at the cross, but rather commenced. It was at the moment of Yahushua's death as the sacrifice for the sin of all mankind that His work of redemption began. At that moment the laws and times of Yahuwah were fulfilled, exonerated, and ratified, displaying to the world the continued harmonious intertwining of each, past, present and future. The only thing that ended at the time of the cross was the sacrificial system of the old Covenant that required the life of an innocent lamb as a sin offering, and the earthly temple/sanctuary services made with hands. Notice, there were no animals nailed to the cross that day, yet that was the only system that ended. All things nailed to the cross continued unbroken, into eternity. Not another animal was to give its life for the sins of man. The earthly sanctuary or temple service ended that day, only because the true Lamb and true Priest took His, ordained and appointed place in the heavenly Sanctuary, not made with hands, to proceed in His ordained work of forgiving all who humbly confess. Then later at the appointed feast time, He would take His place as High Priest to make the final atonement & judgment.
The promised Messiah laid down His life fulfilling the required sin offering by the shedding of His own blood. Christ continues this day to be both the lamb and priest in the heavenly courts. He ever stands before His Father in the work of forgiving sin. He raises both hands on behalf of each sinner who humbly comes before His throne, confessing sin. He then cries, "my blood, my blood." In so doing, He cleanses the sinner, making him whole and clean again. He attributes to each His atoning blood, which He shed upon the cross, as payment in full for the wages of sin. Thus He swapped His death that each confessing sinner may have eternal life. This is His continued and ongoing work as both Lamb and Priest. In every aspect of the heavenly Sanctuary, there are always three things: Yours and my confessed sins and Yahushua (the Lamb's) blood, along with Yahushua our Priest's intercession before His Father. When He completes His work of Atonement, as High Priest, the door of mercy closes, and His work as the Lamb and Priest will be forever ended. All cases will be forever sealed as stated here in Revelation:
Second, at Pentecost He took up His role as our High Priest to mediate on our behalf before the Father in heaven. Third, Christ was to become our High Priest in the Atoning Judgment. And fourth, He is to return as King of Kings for His faithful bride as designated by a specific lunisolar date of the year. This is the story typified by the time-centric holy appointed feast days that commence with Passover, as set forth to Moses by Yahuwah, Elohiym.
It is no secret that the very system set up by Yahuwah, and shown to Moses, was governed by the New Moon for its years, months, weeks, and civil calendar dates. Yet, by 45 B.C. the Romans decided to reckon time according to the sun (solar) only, and removed themselves from lunisolar calendation altogether. In that year Julius Caesar established the Julian calendar in place of, and in opposition to, the three part orchestration of the sun, moon and stars. In this way they removed themselves from the binding claims of the Creator and His laws that synchronized time. Rome designed a year that commenced in winter, instead of spring, months with varying lengths and weeks of eight days that cycled without out end. Lastly, Rome's days were to commence at midnight instead of sunrise. In contrast to the "twelve hour" days of Scripture, and the night has been lumped into the "day," giving mankind a twenty-four hour "day."
Not a single unit of time was left intact in accordance with the Creator's design. Could this be a fulfillment of Daniel 7:25? Rome didn't stop here, but went on to abolish all the "holy feasts days" of Scripture and in their place instituted "holidays" of her own devising. "Easter" is simply one of the many replacement "holidays" created by the Roman Catholic Church. Easter was created for the purpose of commemorating the "resurrection of Christ," yet, only on her terms, in place of, and in contrast to, the terms of Yahuwah's ordained lunisolar time system for the appointed feast days of "Passover, Unleavened Bread, and the Wave Sheaf Offering." Rome's "holidays," because they are out of sync, can never be prophetic dates, nor will they ever bear the seal of God.
Scripture does not support nor recognize weeks that cycle without end, as they are not beaconed by either the sun, moon or stars. If the Messiah had laid down His life and been resurrected according to Roman time, by default He would be an imposter. As a result, in both His life and death, He had to fulfill all the time-centric lunisolar requirements of the prophetic spring feasts.
Absolutely nothing about lunisolar time-keeping is pagan, as these principals that rule in the heavens were created and ordained by the Creator during the first week of creation (Genesis 1:14-18). Pagans have continually counterfeited the things of the heavenly Father, casting darkness over all that would be light and truth. However, lunisolar calendation was the Creator's idea and not mans. He placed His holy and ordained time system out of reach of man and beast that it would not be tampered with. Scripture states in Revelation 13:3 that, "all the world wondered after the beast." Could this have something to do with a false man-made calendar of unauthentic origins that hangs on every wall in the world? Has the whole world been conditioned to follow its rhythm, finding themselves out of sync with regards to their holy days of worship as defined in Scripture? Has the whole world bought into a lie of massive proportions?
Astronomy is an exact science utilizing the movements of earth in relation to the sun, moon and stars (Genesis 1:14-18). From earth's perspective the sun, by day, measures off twelve hour days and solar years. The New Moon, by night, measures lunar months, lunisolar years, while her phases demarcate one day from the next with a lunar monthly date. The stars, by night, measure lunisolar years, and the four watches of the night. Lunisolar time continues to be the most accurate time keeping system upon earth as they were divinely designed to work in three part harmony.
Our Creator made no mistakes at creation and His principles of light that rule in the heavens, never change (Malachi 3:6). This is why this same lunisolar time-keeping system will be utilized throughout all eternity (Isaiah 66:23). It is Rome who has disassociated herself from the true "times and laws" of Yah, with its "loathsome" and binding claims. They have sought to portray only the illusion of the Biblical truths, all the while leading millions to acquire the form of godliness, but deny the power that would bring the soul to humility and confession of sin before the Saviour of souls. The holy days/holidays you choose to keep, and the calendar upon which you desire to observe them, will ultimately determine your destiny.
The loud cry is now going forth to all the world. Can you hear it? Your loving heavenly Father is calling His faithful to come out of all the false teachings of mankind and be separate. What will your decision be? Who will you serve and worship, the Creator of the heavens and earth, or the craftsman of a spurious paper wall calendar?
