I

t is demonstrated in the interlinear word study below that Yahuwah specifically declared to Moses and Aaron that His years are to be divided by "lunar months," and that these "lunar months" are to commence on New Moon day. This is just one of many, where the lunisolar calendation truths have been hidden under the proactive errors of translations in regard to the Creator's ordained times and laws (Daniel 7:25).

Commentary:

Strong’s Concordance along with Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon have both been utilized for strength and soundness of original Hebrew terms and context.

Chapter 12 opens with a commanding declaration by Yehovah to both Moses and Aaron while they are yet in Egyptian bondage, which includes Egyptian law and time-keeping regulations. Please notice that the parameters of the "lunisolar month and year" were divinely reinstituted by Yahuwah a full three months prior to instructions being given for the building of the first earthly sanctuary. This is of great importance because it is in this story that we learn that our heavenly Father's lunisolar time system was not dependant upon the earthly Sanctuary/Temple system, but in fact predated it.

This continues to be a significant point as the earthly temple services were preordained to terminate 1500 years later. This occurred on Abib 14, A.D. 31 at the moment of our Saviour's crucifixion. While the earthly types and shadows ended at the moment the long awaited Messiah laid down His life, the heavenly Sanctuary prototype commenced, continuing lunisolar time unrestrained. This was punctuated by the Messiah fulfilling the time-centric requirements of His crucifixion falling on Passover, a full day in the tomb resting over the Sabbath and His resurrection on the first day of the week, the day of the First Fruits Offering, each on lunisolar time. This New Covenant, based on Yahushua's three fold ministry, continues forward on lunisolar time. What began at the cross on lunisolar time, continues to be worked out by our Saviour as priest of the heavenly Sanctuary above on the same unbroken time system.

At the very time that Yehovah was calling His faithful out of Egypt, He was reclarifying His true time-keeping to Israel. This was not a new time-keeping system, but a reinstatement of the old ordained system from the time of creation. Is it possible that this exact scenario is being repeated today as He is calling His faithful out of spiritual Egypt?

Yehovah is “avouching” His time-keeping stating in essence that today’s particular "new moon" belongs to the beginning of the "lunar months" of that following lunisolar year.

Webster's Dictionary Definition:

avouch = 1. to declare as a matter of fact or as a thing that can be proved : affirm 2. to vouch for : corroborate 3a. to acknowledge (as an act) of one's own. 3b. confess, avow.

There are twelve lunar months in a regular lunisolar year, but there are thirteen lunar months in an embolismic lunisolar year. Embolismic years occur approximately every three years. So the point in this statement is that this New Moon is the first day of the lunar month, and this lunar month is the first month of the lunisolar year.

Then the heavenly Father elaborates that this self-same “new moon” is first in place, time and rank, as in old time past. Therefore, the “new moon” is always the first day of each lunar month, just as it had been demonstrated to Adam and Eve, Noah, and Abraham.

Is it likely that Yahuwah is giving Moses, at this point an all together new time-keeping system, or is it a reclarification of the old? “For I am the LORD, I change not. . .” Malachi 3:6. It is evident that the heavenly Father is reinstating the old.

Yahuwah, who is the creator of time, then continues clarifying that He has ordained “lunar months” as the divisions of His year. This concept was not just for that year alone, but for every year, past, present and future, for all who seek to be in accordance with His will.

The Lord brought Israel from Egypt, that they might keep His Sabbath, and He gave them special directions how to keep it. The instructions given to Moses were recorded for the benefit of all who should live upon the earth to the close of time. God has spoken; let us listen to His words and obey them. Christ Triumphant, p. 109.

Then the heavenly Father commanded Moses to teach these lunisolar time principles to the entire congregation of Israel, while they were yet in Egypt. As stated previously, this is a full three months prior to giving directions on building a Sanctuary according to the "pattern of the heavenly," the one "not made with hands" (Exodus 25:8). The point here being that the "lunar months" with their corresponding "new moons," were not first introduced at the time the instructions were given for building the wilderness sanctuary, but prior to. In this way Yahuwah defines that these lunisolar time principles were not dependant upon the earthly sanctuary system, but separate from. Therefore, if at some future point the earthly Sanctuary system were to come to an end, as ordained, the lunar time principles would not. Here we have a case of the earthly Sanctuary being dependant upon the lunisolar calendar, rather than the lunisolar calendar being dependant upon the earthly Sanctuary system. These lunar guidelines were reclarified to Israel by the Creator of the sun, moon, and stars, who with His right arm of strength, as the Creator of time, had the power to rescue and restore Israel back to Himself.

The heavenly Father has reestablished the parameters for His months and years. These are the selfsame guidelines He had formerly given to Adam and Eve at creation so that they may be included with the time-keeping of all the unfallen worlds. As a son and daughter of God, Adam & Eve were included for the purpose of assembling for worship at all the correct appointed times or mo’edim. These included specifically the "new moons" and seventh-day Sabbaths. Yet, it is possible that there were pre-ordained Feast days in heaven as well prior to sin on earth and the establishment of the Sanctuary Service. In the Father’s great love and provision, He made it possible for them to be in attendance at the heavenly courts specifically to worship Him, their Creator “from one New Moon to another and one Sabbath to another (Isaiah 66:23).”

Verse 3 gives an example of how to count from the “new moon” and defines how the lunisolar calendar works. “On the tenth lunar calendar date from (and including) the “new moon” day, the people were to select and reserve a lamb for the upcoming Passover feast/festival.

The New Moon Day is simply the first day of all Biblical months. All Biblical months are lunar. Months and New Moons cannot be separated as they are forever linked by the same association to the moon. The terms "month" and "New Moon" are often interchangeable because they both mean the start of a new lunar month.

Bottom line, if a year is declared to be divided by lunar months, Yahuwah is declaring nothing short of a fact that His years are lunisolar.

Fifteen hundred years following the Exodus from Egypt, the Messiah and Saviour, Yahushua, died precisely on Passover the 14th, the lunar calendar date of Abib. If He had died in harmony with any other time-keeping system other than the preordained lunisolar calendar, as was faithfully used in the Sanctuary and Temple services with its ordained new moons to beacon months and weeks, and Sabbaths, we would know for certain that He was an imposter. For example, if Christ had died on the solar Gregorian calendar that utilizes unbroken-cycles-of-weeks, rather than each month refreshing with a New Moon day, it would be the truest sign that He was a fraud, and not the promised Redeemer. Rather, He gave His life for mankind in accordance with all the laws, for "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Yahushua), our Lord." Romans 6:23. In so doing, He not only ratified the law, but also the Father's time-keeping principles. And by so doing, He threw open the doors to the heavenly sanctuary, not made with hands, where He the Lamb, Priest, High Priest, and later King continues the proactive work of redeeming and restoring mankind back to Himself.

If we are faithful to Christ, who ratified the laws of heaven as well as the time-centric system of the universe, we will be counted as adopted sons and daughters Yahuwah and of Abraham, destined to be inheritors of the promise of redemption, which is scheduled to take place according to the lunisolar heavenly time-piece.

All are promised that, "If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3:29. NKJV

Absolutely nothing that was nailed to the cross terminated at the cross, but rather commenced. It was at the moment of Yahushua's death as the sacrifice for the sin of all mankind that His work of redemption began. At that moment the laws and times of Yahuwah were fulfilled, exonerated, and ratified, displaying to the world, both present and future, the continued harmonious intertwining of each. The only things that ended at the time of the cross were the sacrificial system of the old Covenant that required the life of an innocent lamb as a sin offering, and the earthly Temple/Sanctuary services made with hands. Notice, there were no animals nailed to the cross that day, yet that was the system that ended. All things nailed to the cross continued unbroken, into eternity. Not another animal was to give its life for the sins of man. The earthly Sanctuary or Temple service ended that day, only because the true Lamb and true Priest took His, ordained and appointed place, in the heavenly Sanctuary, not made with hands, to perform His ordained work of forgiveness. Then later at the appointed Feast time, He would take His place as High Priest to make the final atonement and judgment. The promised Messiah laid down His life fulfilling the required sin offering by the shedding of His own blood. Christ continues to be both the lamb and priest in the heavenly courts. He ever stands before His Father in the work of forgiving sin. He raises both hands on behalf of each sinner who humbly comes before His throne, confessing sin. He then cries, "my blood, my blood." This is His continued and ongoing work as both Lamb and Priest. In every aspect of the heavenly Sanctuary, there are always three things: Yours and my confessed sins, Yahushua the Lamb's blood, and Yahushua the Priest's intercession before His Father. When He then takes on the role as High Priest the door of mercy closes, His work as the Lamb and Priest will be forever ended. All cases will be forever sealed as stated here in Revelation:

He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still." "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." Make no mistake, the final test for all of mankind will be based upon who we worship. We demonstrate who we worship by who's laws and calendar we keep and follow. The first option will be to follow after the beast, who changed both times and laws and setting up man-made a counterfeit system for worship (Daniel 7:25). The second option is that we will hear the divine call to come out of false traditions and keep the eternally viable Laws of Yahuwah and His perpetual and lunisolar clock/calendar as established in the heavenly courts from eternity past, and for the purpose of synchronized worship of all His creation.

Scripture only recognizes the lunisolar calendation as bestowed upon Adam and Eve and every patriarch and prophet from Moses to the time of Christ Yahushua. All who willfully believe the lie that the laws and lunisolar time-keeping of the universe expired at the cross, and or also adhere to a solar calendar that is in sync with pagan unbroken-cycles-of-weeks, in light of a clear thus saith the Lord, is loving and practicing a lie.

Thus says the Lord GOD: "The gateway of the inner court that faces toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and on the day of the New Moon it shall be opened. . . Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the entrance to this gateway before the LORD on the Sabbaths and the New Moons. Ezekiel 46:2, 3 NKJV Ezekiel 46:1-2. NKJV

The above lunisolar model as given with a "thus saith the Lord GOD" to the prophet Ezekiel, is heaven's prototype. It has ever existed to bring all the unfallen worlds to worship precisely at His appointed times; for New Moons, and feast days, of which the seventh-day Sabbath is one.

The above quote from Ezekiel cannot be harmonized with any calendar model that is in harmony with unbroken-cycles-of-weeks that float through the lunar phases of His ordained lunar month, as this would cause the Sabbaths to land on New Moon days or regular work days, etc.

Today the heavenly Father is calling for a people who will come out of Babylon, a mixing of truth with error, to stand on the solid rock of truth as it is in the original Hebrew language. They must be willing to follow the Berean model, "They received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:11. Are you hearing the Master's call? Are you willing to take up the cross of truth and walk in the light? "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." Revelation 22:12
