A "New Moon Beacon" Found in Both the
Third and Fourth Commandments

Save this in PDF

T

he following interlinear word study is intended to reveal that there are yet precious truths to be discovered that have remained hidden just below the surface of all the Scriptural translations. The most amazing revelations that are coming to light in this and other word studies tend to be on the theme of time, revealing the astronomical beacons the Creator ordained to govern it, including the Sabbath.

This study on the Third and Fourth Commandments demonstrates that the Scriptures and the Ten Commandments have been tampered with by the translators. Here, many words have been taken out of their original and intended order. Some important words have been entirely omitted by the translators, while others have been supplied. Notice how placing the Hebrew words back in their correct order causes the KJV Bible translation to become scrambled. In the study below, it quickly becomes apparent that much detail is given to the beacon signals in addition to the Sabbath.

Is it possible that Yahuwah in His great wisdom has allowed His time centric truths to remain hidden for such a time as this?

Following the word study is a point by point commentary to emphasize the new revealed truths.

New Comprehensive Word for Word Analysis:

      Verse 7 Third Commandment
Do not exalt the beacon signal or the name and memorial of Yahuwah Elohiym falsely. Assuredly, except for the blameless, Yahuwah marks those who bear the beacon signal or His name and memorial, falsely.

      Verse 8 Fourth Commandment
Earnestly keep in remembrance the beacon signal day (as opposed to night), and the Sabbath to sanctify and keep holy.

      Verse 9
Six days, as opposed to nights, are for servile employment to accomplish all manner of work.

      Verse 10
Day, as opposed to the night on the seventh, is the Sabbath of Yahuwah Elohiym. Do not do any manner of work; you, your son, your daughter, your man servant, your main servant, livestock, or the guest which is within your gates.

      Verse 11
For assuredly, in six days, as opposed to nights fashioned and appointed Yahuwah, sign markers. These astronomical revolving celestial bodies are beacon signals for earth, signaling westward bound as proof for all who accordingly rest on day seven.

Therefore, blessed Yahuwah the beacon signal day as opposed to night and the Sabbath and sanctified and made them holy.

Commentary:

The Hebrew word ('eth #853)

Before commencing the word study itself, a few comments need to be addressed regarding the Hebrew word ('eth #853). As mentioned in the opening paragraph the translators have taken license to rearrange and even remove significant Hebrew words from the text of the Third and Fourth Commandments. The Hebrew word ('eth #853), which is clearly present in the Hebrew text of the Third and Fourth Commandments is not even included in the modern translated Bible versions.

Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon defines this word as meaning: a sign marker of the definite direct object, not translated in English but generally preceding and indicating the accusative case.

As a result, it appears that the use of ('eth #853) for signs or beacon signals is a dead-end road to applying to the Third and Fourth Commandments. But this is not the case, because unlike a dictionary, which gives a full listing of definitions following each word choice, the Strong's and Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon sometimes divide the same Hebrew word into separate categories. Each category is then given its own Strong's number with an entirely unique set of definitions or word choices. Most casual Bible students will not discover this, for the simple reason the optional word choices are not overtly present. These are only found when searching through the hard copy books, viewing the word previous and following the word one is analyzing.

Since the Hebrew word ('eth #853), by its definition, cannot mean "signs" or "beacon signals," let's look at the Hebrew word ('eth #852). This is the exact same Hebrew word, but given an alternate definition that specifically means: a sign; miraculous signs; wonders. Is this a viable fit in the verses of the Ten Commandments? It does appear to be. What's more, is the root word listed for ('eth #853) is none other than the Hebrew word (owth #226) (it contains two of the same three Hebrew letter symbols), which also specifically means: a sign; signal; flag; beacon; mark; ensign. This word is used multiple times in reference to the seventh-day Sabbath.

In addition, this Hebrew word , from right to left, is composed of the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. In the Greek New Testament the same phenomena is discovered in Revelation 22:13. Here the first and last letters of the Greek Alphabet are identified as the "alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end," and are defined as attributes of the Messiah, Redeemer and Deliverer. As a result, is it comprehensible that this reference in the New Testament to the Alpha and the Omega is simply a mirrored copy of the Old Testament's declaration of this same fact in the Hebrew letters , placing Yah as the Creator of TIME itself, squarely in the Ten Commandments?

One more point on the Hebrew word ('eth #853) has been removed from the Third Commandment three times and from the Fourth Commandment a full six times. Yet, this word is present in the Hebrew Massoretic text as identified in modern Hebrew and the ancient Paleo Hebrew.

Is there any condemnation therefore, for those who put them back in their original and rightful order and reinsert the missing words? If the current Bible translations are blatantly wrong, are we not counseled to restore the truth?

And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. Isaiah 58:12 KJV

Verse 7 Third Commandment
From the interlinear word study above, it is discovered that both sentences of the Third Commandment clarify three things instead of one, each of which are not to be exalted or proclaimed falsely. So, in addition to the a) name of Yahuwah, we are commanded not to bear the b) beacon signal and c) the memorial, falsely. Is it possible these represent the New Moon day and the Sabbath? Does this line up with the portrayal of the New Moon and the Sabbath as found in Ezekiel 46:1 and Isaiah 66:23?

Thus says the Lord GOD: "The gateway of the inner court that faces toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and on the day of the New Moon it shall be opened.

. . . Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the entrance to this gateway before the LORD on the Sabbaths and the New Moons.
Ezekiel 46:1-2 NKJV
And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me," says the LORD. Isaiah 66:23 NKJV

The second sentence clarifies that all, except for the blameless will receive "a mark" for falsely bearing His name, when it is defined specifically in this text as "Yahuwah 'Elohiym," along with His "beacon signal," and His "memorial." This "mark" appears to be the selfsame "mark" spoken of in both Revelation 16:2 and Revelation 19:20.

So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image [man-made calendar]. Revelation 16:2 NKJV

Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs [promoted false Sabbaths] in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image [man-made calendar]. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. Revelation 19:20 NKJV

Adhering to a man-made calendar system, made up of only two kinds of days that cycle without end, outside the realm of the sun, moon and stars and excluded from the New Moon day (beacon signal), causes people to break both the Third and Fourth Commandment. This is because by ignoring the "beacon signal" of the New Moon altogether, it is impossible to find the true seventh-day Sabbath, the memorial of Creation.

Compare this with the following Interlinear Word Study on Exodus 31:13-14 as gathered from the Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon and the Strong's Concordance:

You speak unto the children of Israel, saying, verily the beacon signal and Sabbath observe. Assuredly, signs these are between and among your posterity as an acknowledgement that I, Yahuwah, sanctify you.

Observe the beacon signal and the Sabbath, assuredly dedicated they for a purpose. Everyone who dissolves or breaks these apart, as if by a wedge, is a necromancer and shall be put to death. Assuredly, whoever does within these any labor, will be cut off, soul his, from among the people. Exodus 31:13-14. (A detailed Word Study is forthcoming.)

Here in Exodus 31:13-14 the Fourth Commandment is presented in different words as it is defined this second time. There appear to be great consequences for all those who seek to separate the seventh-day Sabbath from the beacon signal in the heavens. This would constitute that the Sabbath is beaconed by the New Moon and is therefore a lunar Sabbath.

Verse 8 Fourth Commandment It is found that the first sentence of the Fourth Commandment echo's the sentiment in the Third Commandment, defining two kinds of days that are holy unto Yahuwah. These are the beacon signal (New Moon day) and the seventh-day Sabbath. The third kind of day is later defined as work days. Therefore, three kinds of days are identified in the Fourth Commandment of Exodus 20:8-11, which are also established in Ezekiel 46:1. The additional evidence that the daylights, as opposed to the nights, are time periods of special significance, simply cannot be ignored.

Thus says the Lord GOD: "The gateway of the inner court that faces toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and on the day of the New Moon it shall be opened. Ezekiel 46:1-2

Here in the book of Ezekiel we find a "thus saith the Lord" that Yahuwah ordained three kinds of days which are named and have specific function.  Notice below that the "east gate"of the temple, being open or closed for worship, actually defines that these days can never overlap. A day is either a work day or a worship day and never both. There is no guess work here. New Moon days will never fall on work days, just as Sabbaths can never fall on work days. Likewise, New Moon days can never be seventh-day Sabbaths, because the New Moon day must always be the first day of the month, as it only can be the day following  the first visible crescent.  Notice in the following verse, are the words of Yahuwah, Himself.

  1. East gate is shut six working days.
  2. East gate is open on the Sabbath.
  3. East gate is open on New Moon day.
        Facts from Ezekiel 46:1
  • Two kinds of days make up the Biblical week – work days and Sabbaths.

  • Three kinds of days make up a Biblical month – New Moon days, work days and Sabbaths.

  • The east gate is opened for worship on both New Moon days and Sabbath days.

  • The east gate is shut for worship on work days.

  • Sabbath days and work days never overlap. New Moon days and work days never overlap. New Moon days and Sabbaths never overlap, as they were divinely designed as distinct kinds of days.

  • Therefore, New Moon day that occurs once each month is never a work day or a seventh-day Sabbath.

  • However, by its very existence, the New Moon day breaks the cycle of work days and Sabbath days, each lunar month.

  • It is impossible for the Creator’s weeks to have cycled without end, since creation, for the mere fact that there are three kinds of days and not just two, as all have previously believed.

  • Cycling weeks cannot remain unbroken for 6,000 years, 6 months, or 6 weeks, for the very reason that the New Moon day exists and continues to stand as a beacon of time, thus breaking the week cycle each and every month. All units of time are heralded by the three part orchestration of the sun, moon and stars, the great principles that rule in the heavens. These alone bear the signature of the Creator.

      Verse 9
Directly following the clarification of Yahuwah, that indeed there are two separate days that are to be sanctified, He identifies that the time span between them are a period of six days. A distinction is made that these six days are for work, labor and employment and they are never to be sanctified or given holy status. Therefore, if the would-be-faithful recognize the beacon signal day each lunar month, the holy days and non-holy days will be rightly divined.

      Verse 10
But day seven, as counted from the beacon signal, is the Sabbath of Yahuwah Elohiym. No manner of work is to be done within the gates of His faithful people, by them or by their livestock, etc.

      Verse 11
Here in verse 11, a detailed account of the week of creation is given. These specific six days of creation are defined as the six days that come between the "beacon signal day" and the "seventh-day Sabbath," and between each Sabbath of the month as they are beaconed by the New Moon.

Creation Week and New Moon Day:

Exodus 20:10 declares, "the seventh-day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God." Our Creator shared "His Sabbath" with mankind, that we may be in sync with the worship rhythms of heaven, the angels, and unfallen worlds as they assemble on His pre-appointed holy days. But in addition to Yahuwah sharing His Sabbaths with mankind, He also imputed to earth heaven"'s lunar months and lunisolar years via heaven"'s own New Moon time indicator. How can we know for certain?

Each day of earth"'s creation fell upon a work day of the Heavenly Father. These six work days were sandwiched between His two holy days. These were the holy New Moon day and His holy seventh-day Sabbath. These holy days are always rest days, not only for His creations, but also for the Creator, himself, that He may avail Himself to receive their worship. As a result, there are never more than six days in a row in which the heavenly Father is free to create.  This is in perfect harmony with Exodus 20:10.

While our Creator is omnipotent, it is a known fact that there is ONE THING HE CANNOT DO.  He cannot lie!  However, it has been discovered that there is an additional thing that He cannot do, which is of great significance in establishing the parameters of His preordained calendar rhythms.  Our Creator could not create the New Moon on the New Moon day.  This is an impossibility for the shear fact that New Moon day is a holy day unto Yahuwah and the entire universe, rendering it a "rest" day and not a work day. Our loving Creator is both consistent and He "changes not."

The calendar illustration below demonstrates what occurred during the creation week.  On the New Moon Day (in blue) the Creator could not have been on earth for any reason, as He was both resting and receiving worship from the angels and all the previous creations. Each of the Creator"'s six work days are (in green).  The first day of creation on earth was the second day of the month for the Creator, whose time rhythms He was to share with Adam and Eve, in a few short days.

It is hard for mankind to fathom that from the Creator"'s perspective, time was ongoing, while earth"'s time had only just begun. The 8th day of the month (in gold) is the seventh-day of the week, an eternal holy seventh-day Sabbath of Yahuwah"'s, past present and future.  Here again He would be resting and receiving worship from all His creation, but now for the first time earthlings were to be included in the Creator"'s holy day of rest and worship.

In the calendar above, the first New Moon of the year, corresponds to Mar.-Apr,
is in the shape of a dish.

The fact that the sun, moon and stars were created on the fourth day of the creation week was a preordained "sign" to demonstrate to mankind that earth's "time" was not independent from that of heaven. Rather, earth's "time" was hung from heaven's own portals of time, from heaven's own New Moon. Therefore, on the fourth day the celestial bodies were created and their time advanced upon, reflecting, by their positions, the passage of the first recorded days of creation. As a result, earth's first week and month were set, as a clock would be, according to heaven's clock and heaven's New Moon. Earth was never intended to operate on an independent time-system from that of the entire universe. This was the missing puzzle piece in the Genesis account of the week. It was heaven's New Moon that set the count for days, weeks, and months, upon the earth during creation week. Now Genesis can be harmonized with the remainder of the Scriptures.

Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the entrance to this gateway before the LORD on the Sabbaths and the New Moons.  Ezekiel 46:3-4 NKJV

Earth's sun, moon and stars were not created, or their time set or placed in their celestial positions until the fourth day, as a testimony that "time"upon earth was designed after the pattern of, and in harmony with the heavenly throne. While heaven"'s time system is earth"'s benefactor, only those who are obedient to its principles are the beneficiaries. Revelation represents this group of people as a pure woman with the following unique qualities:

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Revelation 12:1-2 NKJV

In heaven and the earth made new, the same calendar rhythm instituted at creation will be utilized. According to the following verse, will its "week" be in harmony with the Vatican's time principles, a "week" that cycles without end, independent of the moon, or will its week be in harmony with the sun, moon and stars, the divine principles that rule in the heavens?

And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me," says the LORD. Isaiah 66:23

There is no getting around the importance the heavenly Father places upon His holy New Moon days and seventh-day Sabbaths. His New Moon day marks the commencement of each month, week and year. Try as one might, the Creator"'s true Sabbaths cannot be located any other way.

The Ellen White quote below describes the experience of the saints in heaven and the earth made new. They will witness suns, stars and systems all circling the throne of our heavenly Father.  Does this quote appear to imply that "time" in heaven also consists of the same celestial type time markers? Does this not confirm that the earth"'s celestial bodies are patterned after the heavenly? Are these not in place for the purpose of governing the times for worship of the Creator of the universe. Would this not be the Creator's system, like synchronized watches, beckoning His many creations to come and worship before Him upon His holy days?

With undimmed vision they gaze upon the glory of creation--suns and stars and systems, all in their appointed order circling the throne of Deity. Great Controversy, p. 677.

Mankind has been honored by their loving heavenly Father, as He gave us the same time system, utilizing a sun, moon and stars, as those that define time in the heavenly courts.  Nothing is different.  There are no wall calendars there designating when to come before His throne to worship.  All the unfallen worlds would also have suns, moons and stars that keep the exact same time system.  All are in perfect harmony, even better than a Swiss watch.  Could it be the result of the rebelliousness of man"'s heart that we have crafted a different calendar upon different principles, causing us to worship, we know not who, on days we know not why.  May our wonderful Saviour have mercy upon us all.

The Key The key that establishes the reality that two distinct days are both sanctified, is found in this eleventh verse of Exodus 20. The Hebrew word ('eth #852 signs) can be translated as signs, sign markers, and beacon signals. This verse connects ('eth #852 signs, beacon signals) to the astronomical revolving celestial bodies which were fashioned and appointed during the "six days" and not to the seventh day. It is these astronomical revolving celestial bodies that beacon time upon earth by perpetually moving across the sky westward bound. It is these astronomical signals (sun, moon and stars), ordained by Yahuwah 'Elohiym at Creation that establish signs of proof for locating the true and correct seventh-day Sabbath. Locating the true seventh-day Sabbath therefore, becomes the "nail in a sure place," the "sign" that Yahuwah's faithful are in one accord with the time rhythms of heaven and the unfallen worlds.

Finally, the very last sentence of the Fourth Commandment repeats the first sentence, as confirmation and summary that indeed there are two days that are blessed and holy according to Yahuwah. First is the New Moon day, and second is the Seventh-day Sabbath as counted from New Moon day.

Truly, this is a sobering subject and many new discoveries will be made as the Spirit of Yahuwah prepares the way. The author does not feel this is the last word on this subject, or that it is error free. Rather, it is a revealing that the truths in Scripture have indeed been corrupted. May Yahuwah, the heavenly Father have mercy upon us as we diligently seek more light.

May Yahuwah continue to bless you as you diligently seek Him.
