The Night Watches are as Yesterday
When They are Past
In the word study below it is demonstrated that just as a thousand years resemble yesterday when they are past, so too the "night watches" are as yesterday when they are past. Therefore, when the night is past, a "new day" commences. This is just another piece of evidence that a "day" according to Scripture commences at sunrise and not sunset or midnight.

New Comprehensive Word for Word Analysis
Verse 3
Turn away mortal man from eternal destruction; and answer the call for restoration all you children of Adam.
Verse 4
For a thousand (lunisolar) years resemble days of yesterday when they are past, as the watches of the night.
Commentary:
An important comparison is made in verse 4 that appears to have gone unnoticed. This may be the case simply because the modern Roman Gregorian time-keeping declares that each new day begins at midnight, as the whole world has been preconditioned to believe. Similarly, the Jews and other Saturday Sabbatarians may overlook this point as they traditionally believe and teach that each
new calendar date begins at sunset and ends the following sunset. But what does Scripture really teach? Upon what units of time measurement lie the
weight of evidence?
These verses identify through this comparison that a thousand (lunisolar) years resemble days of yesterday when they are past, [just] as the watches in the night" are [become] yesterday when they are past. It appears that it was a common understanding at the time David wrote this Psalm that the
new day began when the night watches had ended.
The night watches commence at the setting sun along with the appearing of the first stars in the sky, such as Venus. The night watches end at the first visible rays at sunrise, at which time the stars disappear. The night watches belong to yesterday as the sun rises on the eastern horizon proclaiming a brand new day. Refer to article, "
Visible Stars Define the Parameters of Day and Night."
According to this text, the "day" as well as a lunar calendar date begin at sunrise. This is because the four watches of the night encompass both the morning and evening twilight as well as the dark portion of the night, and belong to the second half of lunar calendar date. This text is clarifying, as no other single text in Scripture does, that at the termination of the four night watches a brand new day begins. In this way this text
proactively declares that the divinely ordained divisions of lunar calendar dates occur at sunrise, in contrast to Roman midnight and Jewish sunset. Refer to article, "
Sunrise or Sunset, When Does a Day Begin."
Now tying verse 4 to verse 3, the meaning becomes full of life. Here we find that the divine call to mankind to be restored to their maker, is connected to His preordained and appointed divisions of time, and specifically to when the calendar date begins and ends.

Verse 4 also indicates that "a thousand revolutions of time," also known as lunisolar years (or prophetic years), is a symbolic "day" consisting of a thousand years. This concept is also supported by 2 Peter 3:8:
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8 NKJV
From the fall of man, the divinely ordained plan was that six days, consisting of one thousand years each, were allotted for the children of Adam for putting away of sin. Then Christ Yahushua's glorious return occurs at the commencement of the last "day" of one thousand years, which is otherwise known as the one thousand year Sabbath rest. During this one thousand year Sabbatical the saved will be with Christ Yahushua in heaven, but those who chose their own path, refusing His free gift of eternal life, will spend their thousand years in death on earth. While no hell fires are burning yet, Satan and all his angels will spend this same period alive and in total darkness among the heaps of rubble and ashes of their target enemy - the children of Adam. With no one to tempt, they are bound in chains of darkness awaiting their final reward of eternal death.
Satan and His angels have now spent six thousand years obliterating and hiding the truths of Yahuwah from His children. As the great deceiver, He set a up finely tuned systems that would wheel a detour of the praise and worship intended for the Creator, instead to himself. The greatest of these is his counterfeit time system of years, months, unbroken cycle of weeks, days, hours and holy days, and specifically when they commence.
I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isaiah 14:13-14
To the remnant of the last days, the divine call is given to be restored to "the principles that rule in the heavens," declaring that "Babylon is fallen . . ." and to "Come out of her My people . . ." This call profoundly includes, a full and complete abandonment of false calendation and time-keeping found on wall calendars and clocks in every home. Instead, we are to look to the celestial bodies revolving in the heavens above, in order that each may walk in the wondrous light of His pure and holy truth.
Scripture states that those who are victorious over the beast will be those who "follow the lamb withersoever He goeth." But what does this really mean? Is it not true that to faithfully and accurately "follow the lamb" one must be in sync with the rhythms of the earthly sanctuary services, of which the lamb was the center focus? The daily morning and evening sacrifices, New Moon and Sabbath sacrifices, together with each of the holy appointed feast days, were all pivotally designed to be in harmony with the threefold time piece displayed in the heavens. Could it be that it is only in being in sync with these revolving celestial bodies that the true divinely ordained calendation and its Sabbaths are kept? Each aspect of the Saviour's ministry on man's behalf is defined by each of the specific holy feast day appointments as given in Leviticus 23. Each are time-centric to the Saviour's ministry first on earth and then in heaven. All of heaven is united with the rhythm of the sun, moon and stars in support of the lamb's grand and glorious work of saving and restoring to holiness, each willing child of Adam.
Would you like to be counted among the restored and redeemed ones?
May Yahuwah continue to bless you as you diligently seek Him.
