Defying all odds, a computer mechanism over 2000 years old - has actually been found.

Since its discovery in 1902, in a shipwreck off the coast of Greece, the “Antikythera Mechanism”, as it has come to be called, has obtained much scientific attention around the world. Originally there were multiple conjectures as to its true purpose, but now with the recent discovery of additional gears, a final working model has been completed.
