Unrighteous Results

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:3, 4

Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, “Yahuah, I thank You that I am not like other men–extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.” And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to the shamayim, but beat his breast, saying, “Yahuah, be compassionate to me a sinner!” I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Luke 18:10-14

One who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, even his prayer is an abomination. Proverbs 28:9

He has blocked my ways with hewn stone; He has made my paths crooked. Lamentations 3:8-9

“It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.'” Matthew 21:13-14

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22
