A Day of Rest ~ Trump, Sabbath, and Prophecy
“A Day of Rest”
Trump, Sabbath, and Prophecy
Throughout history, moments have arisen when political movements, religious traditions, and prophetic expectations suddenly converge in ways that capture the attention of the world. What once seemed unthinkable gradually becomes normalized, and ideas once confined to small religious circles begin moving toward the center of public discussion and national policy. We may now be witnessing the early stages of such a shift unfolding before our eyes.
President Donald J. Trump’s recent public letter encouraging Americans to honor a national Sabbath (Shabbat) rest during Jewish American Heritage Month may appear, at first glance, to be little more than a respectful acknowledgment of Jewish culture, faith, and religious liberty. Yet for many thoughtful believers, such developments naturally raise deeper questions regarding the future relationship between civil leadership, public expressions of worship, and the growing role of religious observance within national life. What once seemed unlikely is now steadily moving into mainstream discussion, causing many to pause and consider where these trends may ultimately lead.
This article is not written as an attack against any people group, denomination, or sincere believer. Rather, it is an appeal to carefully examine the foundations beneath the modern worship-day debate itself. By honestly looking at Scripture, history, and the Creator’s appointed order established in the heavens, we may better discern whether today’s religious systems fully reflect the original worship rhythm established from the beginning, or whether important truths concerning sacred time and prophetic worship have gradually been obscured beneath centuries of inherited tradition.
President Trump Calls for a National Sabbath Rest
A big thank you to Ann E. for her discernment and for sharing the following video with me, as it is a stunning exposé of what may be coming soon to a nation or city near you.
While this video reflects the current perspective of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the implications of this event reach far beyond denominational boundaries.
What President Trump stated within two key paragraphs of his letter concerning “Rededicate 250” and a national Sabbath (Shabbat) rest is deeply significant and should cause thoughtful believers everywhere to pause and carefully consider the direction in which the world may now be moving. While many will view this simply as a gesture of honor toward Jewish heritage and religious freedom, the broader implications extend far beyond cultural recognition. What is now being introduced into the public conversation has the potential to reshape America’s religious landscape and, eventually, the world’s.
What makes this development especially striking is that the growing call to unite around the modern Jewish Saturday Sabbath, observed from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, will almost certainly produce a powerful counterreaction throughout the wider Christian religious world. As tensions increase, the worship-day debate will once again become sharply polarized between Saturday and Sunday observance, with each side defending traditions long assumed to be biblical. Yet, according to the combined testimony of history, Scripture, and astronomy, the Creator’s original calendar, established from the beginning, was neither the modern Saturday nor the Sunday upheld by today’s religious systems. Thus, the world appears to be moving rapidly toward a conflict centered upon two competing traditions, while the authentic worship rhythm established by Yahuah Alahim remains largely forgotten. To witness such developments unfolding in real time is both remarkable and deeply sobering. It may well represent the early framework for a coming religious revolution connected to the prophetic Mark of the Beast.
The presentation from OrionMedia.com itself identifies important concerns, but only within the limits of the speaker’s present understanding. What remains largely unrecognized is that no matter which day, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, or any other day, is ultimately mandated for worship and rest upon the framework of the Roman calendar system, the foundation remains unchanged. Any worship structure rooted in a counterfeit system of time that has replaced the Creator’s original appointed order will inevitably produce the same non-ordained outcome.
In this sense, the issue is not merely which day is honored, but which authority governs the calendar that is honored. Any enforced worship system that gives loyalty, honor, and religious submission to a man-altered framework of time ultimately participates in the same diabolical underlying system identified in prophecy as the Mark of the Beast.

President Trump Signs the National Day Letter
(This is only the last portion of the letter.)
…Under my leadership, we are aggressively fighting the violence against Jewish Americans that increased under my predecessor, prosecuting hateful criminals to the fullest extent of the law, and working to end the scourge of antisemitism throughout our institutions, especially on college campuses. As President, I will never stop fighting to protect our birthright of religious freedom – a sacred right that continues to guide our Nation, drawing us closer to the Almighty each and every day.
Throughout this historic year, we rejoice in the triumph of the American spirit and rededicate ourselves to the cause of liberty and justice for all. In special honor of the 250 glorious years of American independence and on the weekend of Rededicate 250 – a national jubilee of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving – Jewish Americans are encouraged to observe a national Sabbath. From sundown on May 15 to nightfall on May 16, friends, families, and communities of all backgrounds may come together in gratitude for our great Nation. This day will recognize the sacred Jewish tradition of setting aside time for rest, reflection, and gratitude to the Almighty.
This month, we celebrate the contributions that Jewish Americans have made to our way of life, we honor their role in shaping the story of our Nation, and we remember that religious devotion, learning, and service to others are enduring pillars of a thriving culture. Through every trial and triumph, the contributions of Jewish Americans have shaped our past, have strengthened our communities, and will continue to inspire American greatness for generations to come.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim May 2026 as Jewish American Heritage Month. I call upon Americans to celebrate the heritage and contributions of Jewish Americans and to observe this month with appropriate programs, activities, and ceremonies. I further call on all Americans to celebrate their faith and freedom throughout this year, during this month, and especially on Shabbat to celebrate our 250th year.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this fourth day of May, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-six, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and fiftieth.
[Signed] Donald J. Trump
Consider the Back Story
As many are aware, President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, married Jared Kushner, who comes from an Orthodox Jewish background, and she herself converted to Judaism. Through these close family ties, President Trump has naturally developed a greater familiarity and appreciation for Jewish heritage, traditions, and religious customs, including the modern observance of the Saturday Shabbat from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, as practiced within Judaism for many centuries.
Viewed from a cultural and national perspective, it is understandable why President Trump would choose to publicly honor the Jewish people and acknowledge their significant contributions to American society. Every ethnic and religious community within the nation deserves protection, dignity, and respect under the law. In that sense, many will see such statements as an honorable effort to affirm religious liberty and recognize the enduring influence Jewish Americans have had upon the nation’s history, education, business, law, and culture.
Yet an important question still remains beneath the surface of this discussion. Does the modern observance of Shabbat from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown accurately preserve the original worship rhythm established by the Creator in Scripture? Tradition alone, no matter how ancient or sincerely practiced, does not automatically establish biblical or historical authenticity. This is precisely where the deeper examination must begin.
When Restoration Conceals a Deeper Question
Yet this is precisely where the deeper and more sobering question begins to emerge.
If the modern Jewish Saturday Sabbath, observed from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, is itself founded upon a calendar framework that departed long ago from the original worship rhythm established by Yahuah Alahim at Creation, then what exactly is now being restored and promoted before the world? Is humanity truly being called back to the Creator’s authentic appointed times as revealed through the heavenly lights, or is it instead being directed to an impostor and toward a long-established religious tradition that only appears unquestionably biblical because it has been repeated, defended, and institutionalized for centuries by Judaism, Roman Catholicism, and later by Protestant Christianity?
This is the heart of the growing conundrum. Most believers have never stopped to ask whether the modern continuous weekly cycle itself accurately reflects the original calendar structure established at creation, in Genesis. As a result, the present worship-day debate is almost always framed within the boundaries of inherited systems already assumed to be correct. Yet if the foundational calendar itself has been altered, then the conflict between Saturday and Sunday may ultimately revolve around two competing traditions built upon the same displaced framework of sacred time.
The question at large is, how do we restore and rededicate with something that was never the Creator’s chosen standard in the first place?
The Heart of the Issue
This is the heart of the issue that few are prepared to examine.
Most Christians assume Saturday is the Biblical Sabbath simply because it is the day honored by modern Judaism, while Sunday keepers defend the first day of the Roman week in honor of the resurrection tradition. Seventh-Day Adventists are certain that Saturday is the Sabbath because of their devotion to their prophet, Ellen White. Yet both systems of Saturday and Sunday keepers stand upon the same continuous Roman calendar structure inherited from Emperor Constantine, who took the old Julian eight-day cycling week and made it seven days in length. But what he never did was return the week to the lunar calendar count from the full New/Renewed Moon, in the 4th century A.D. Thus, the growing conflict between Saturday and Sunday observance may actually conceal a far greater reality: neither side may represent the original Scriptural worship rhythm established from the beginning.
…There was a distinct break between the Old Testament requirements…dealing with the Sabbath worship…They [Rome] wanted to show that Christianity [their brainchild] was distinct from Judaism…
The other thing that we should remember, too, is that our calendar that we follow, including Seventh-day Adventists, is not only a calendar that was devised by the Catholic Church, but also it is a calendar that’s based upon the solar year, not the lunar year. The Jewish calendar that was observed in the time of Christ follows a lunar calendar . . .
So the great irony is that even the Seventh-day Adventists themselves are not worshiping on exactly the same Sabbath day as the Jews of the time of Christ, because it is several days off… Patrick Madrid, Catholic Priest, EWTN, Global Catholic Radio Network, Jan 5, 2006
According to the combined testimony of Scripture, history, and the heavens themselves, the original calendar of Creation was not based upon a continuous pagan Roman weekly cycle detached from the moon. Rather, the Creator established a timekeeping system governed by the heavenly lights, especially the moon, for signs, appointed times, days, and years (Genesis 1:14). Within this framework, the New Moon, Sabbaths, and Feast Days functioned together as an interconnected worship pattern revealing the entire Plan of Salvation.
The Hegelian Dialectic Worship Conflict
One of the most effective tools utilized throughout history to guide public opinion and reshape societies has been what is commonly referred to as the Hegelian Dialectic. In its simplest form, it operates by creating two opposing sides: a thesis and an antithesis. As the conflict between the two grows, people are gradually driven toward a controlled resolution, or synthesis, that ultimately advances an agenda entirely different from what either side originally anticipated. Whether in politics, religion, economics, or social movements, this method has repeatedly been used to channel populations into accepting outcomes that might otherwise have been resisted.
This growing worship-day controversy appears to fit that pattern with remarkable precision. On one side stands the call for honoring Saturday as the Biblical Sabbath, promoted by modern Judaism and supported by many Sabbath-keeping Christians. On the opposite side stands the long-established Sunday tradition defended by most of Christianity (Roman Catholicism and its daughter Protestant Churches). As tensions rise between these two positions, the world becomes increasingly polarized around a debate framed entirely within the boundaries of the Roman calendar system. Yet what if both sides are arguing within a framework already detached from the Creator’s original calendar established at Creation? In that case, the conflict itself may function as a carefully shaped dialectic, drawing sincere believers into choosing between two fictional traditions while the authentic worship rhythm of Yahuah Alahim remains almost entirely absent from the discussion.
This is what makes the present developments so deeply sobering. The final issue, therefore, may not be simply concerned with whether one worships on Saturday or Sunday, but whether mankind will submit and give their full allegiance to a man-altered system of authority as a replacement for the Creator’s original and ordained lunar time principles. In such a scenario, the world is gradually conditioned to accept externally regulated worship practices while believing it is defending truth and religious liberty. Meanwhile, the original calendar established through the heavenly lights for signs, lunar appointed times, days, and years (Genesis 1:14) becomes obscured beneath the conflict. Thus, the enemy’s greatest success may not be convincing the world to reject worship altogether, but persuading it to fight passionately over two competing substitutes while the original pattern established by the Creator remains hidden in plain sight. After all, didn’t Satan once declare that he would be like the Most High and receive worship in His place:
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer (H#1966 – Hillel), son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Alahim (God): I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.’ Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” Isaiah 14:12-14
Can we now begin to see how such a carefully crafted conflict could ultimately funnel worship directly into the enemy’s hands? If Satan’s ancient ambition was to exalt his throne above the stars of Alahim, to replace the authority of the Most High, and to receive worship for himself, then the most effective deception would not be the abolition of worship altogether, but the substitution of the Creator’s ordained system with a counterfeit worship rhythm of man’s own design.
In this way, many, although sincere, may nevertheless render allegiance through a man-altered calendar and worship structure, having placed unquestioning trust in pope, prophet, rabbi, pastor, or religious tradition, ignoring the still small voice of Yahuah Alahim or searching beyond inherited translations and doctrines to uncover the deeper truths encompassing the lunar calendar and His originally ordained times of worship established at Creation.
Thus, the issue surrounding the Mark of the Beast may reach far deeper than the enforcement of a particular worship day alone. At its core lies the acceptance of a substituted authority over sacred time itself through allegiance to a man-altered calendar system, regardless of which day upon that system is ultimately exalted. Scripture repeatedly warns of a power that would seek to “change times and laws” while directing worship away from the Creator’s ordained order and toward itself. In this light, the controversy is not merely about Saturday or Sunday, but about the long-standing effort of the adversary to replace the authority of Yahuah Alahim with a counterfeit system designed to receive the worship and loyalty that belong to the Most High alone.
Staggering Implications
If this is true, then the implications are staggering.
It would mean the coming global controversy over worship may ultimately center upon two competing traditions, Saturday vs. Sunday, all in the name of rededication and restoration to God. Yet the true worship rhythm of the Most High remains almost entirely forgotten by both sides. Such a development would create the perfect counterfeit conflict foretold in prophecy, drawing the world into a debate framed around inherited tradition rather than restored truth.
This is why President Trump’s proclamation deserves careful attention. What appears at first to be merely a patriotic acknowledgment of Jewish heritage may, knowingly or unknowingly, become part of a much larger movement preparing the religious world for a coming worship crisis unlike anything seen before.
What is the Mark of the Beast?
The Mark of the Beast is not a visible mark that you and I can see. During the final conflict, it will be revealed by the choices we individually make in our minds, symbolized by the “forehead,” and by the actions that those choices produce, as symbolized by our “right hand.” The MARK is, therefore, a result of our own choices to utterly reject and commit the unpardonable sin against the continual outreaching of YAHUAH Alahim and His Son, the Messiah, through the still small voice of His Ruach ha Kadosh (His power, presence, and provision). It is our choices that, in turn, willingly open the door to any vetting system the Luciferian New World Order desires to use to mark their subjects. These will be the only ones allowed to work, buy, sell, etc. No one outside yourself can give you the Mark of the Beast.
Based on the rumors of what is coming down the pike, it is likely that this New World Order elite will utilize and impose a tattoo QR code system, computer chip, or a series of vaccines loaded with nano-particles that can be used to control and monitor all its willing subjects. It appears that these injections and/or another method will also carry whatever digital system is necessary to keep track of and allow participants to buy or sell using bitcoin, blockchain, or whatever the latest tool to control you might be. So those not participating in these control systems, the world over, will be left to die of starvation. Shocking as it may be, culling most of the population is on their agenda. But our Messiah and Savior will protect His own and has promised that our bread and water will be sure (Isaiah 33:16).
The important thing to remember is that no one can place the Mark of the Beast on anyone without their willing approval. It will be a combination of many choices over a period of time.
Who Receives the MARK OF THE BEAST?
Revelations 13 and 14 reveal who receives the Mark of the Beast. Everyone will receive the mark except for a very small group of people. Here is what Revelation says:
“And he [the Beast] causes ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the Beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16-17
Revelations 13 and 14 describe the dire situation for all who receive the Mark of the Beast. You can read it for yourself.
Who is Protected From the Mark with the Seal of Yahuah?
Among the overwhelming majority who forfeit their eternal life for the ability to “buy and sell” for a short space of time in the global New World marketplace, there emerges a small group of believers who meet the following eight criteria as found in Revelation 14:1-5, 12, Exodus 13:9-10.
These eight criteria result from the decisions these individuals make, choice by choice, over a period of time. But together, they become the vetting system for the Eternal Father, YAHUAH Alahim, and His Son, YAHUSHA haMashiach (the Messiah). Ultimately, the individuals in this category are SEALED into both the Father and Son by their decisions to be faithful and obedient citizens of the ETERNAL KINGDOM GOVERNMENT while they still remain on Earth. Together, this is the ETERNAL’S IMMUNIZATION and INOCULATION METHOD to ensure His faithful will not receive the MARK OF THE BEAST.
- They stand upon MT. ZION, the mountain of lunar appointed time-measuring.
- They have the FATHER’S NAME on their foreheads, which reads YAHUAH Alahim or Yahusha haMashiach.
- They alone sing a new song that no man can learn except they themselves, the 144,000, which are redeemed from the Earth. It is referred to in Scripture as “The Song of Moses and the Lamb.”
- These are not defiled by “women,” which means they are not corrupted by the false Christian Churches, Rabbinical Pharisees, or pagan religion ideologies of Popes or false prophets, who have turned from the truth (Titus 1:14). (It has nothing to do with abstaining from marriage. The word “women” is a symbolic term for religious systems only in prophecy.)
- “These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes.” This is a metaphor of the Messiah carried over from the Sanctuary/Temple Ceremonies types and shadows, the sacrifices, on the specific Feast Days. Meaning they keep all the prophetic Feast Days as depicted in the Wilderness Sanctuary and later Temple’s time centric system according to the correct full moon as the start of the lunar calendar year and months as displayed throughout the Torah Law. This model alone foreshadows Salvation’s atoning work of the Messiah from Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day in spring), counting 14 days to Passover (the day the promise of a sacrificial lamb was fulfilled), and onward to Tabernacles (Sukkot), and the Last Great Day (Yom Shimini).
- In their mouth is found no guile, because they have confessed their sins and “have been washed in the Blood of the Lamb”, Yahusha haMashiach, the only Messiah. “And they overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives even unto death.” Revelation 12:11
- These alone have shalom (peace) of the Zadok (Righteous), for they keep the entire TORAH LAW of YAHUAH Alahim and have the TESTIMONY OF YAHUSHA haMashiach (the Messiah). Click here for an explanation of what is included in the Torah Law.
- They celebrate Passover each year and have been COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AS THE SEAL OF YAHUAH ALAHIM FOR:
“It [PASSOVER] shall be for a SIGN TO YOU ON YOUR HAND and as a MEMORIAL BETWEEN YOUR EYES that YAHUAH’S TORAH LAW may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand YAHUAH has brought you out of Egypt [Babylon, Rome, and the New World Order]. You shall, therefore, keep this ordinance [PASSOVER] on its season (#4150 mo’edah – specific lunar appointed date) from year to year.” Exodus 13:9-10
The Seal of Yahuah Alahim is Passover
Having faithfully embraced these covenant principles, the Messiah’s obedient followers are ultimately SEALED into the Eternal Kingdom, for they “loved not their lives unto the death.” Even those who perish will be raised again in the resurrection of the righteous. Their continual decisions to seek truth, trust in, and obey Yahusha haMashiach (the Messiah) become part of the covering of divine protection granted by the MOST HIGH against the Mark of the Beast (Psalms 91:1-16).
Central to this covenant relationship is the faithful observance of Passover, celebrated on the fourteenth day counted from the first full New Moon of Rosh Hashanah in the spring. This appointed time stands as a visible declaration of allegiance, revealing whom one honors, worships, and obeys. This and all other lunar appointed Feast Days can only be found on the lunar calendar that begins with the full New Moon, followed by the count of four weeks and their lunar seventh-day Sabbaths. Only occasionally will the lunar Sabbath occur on a Roman solar calendar Saturday.
So why do these faithful ones not receive the Mark of the Beast? Because they have chosen to walk in love and obedience to the Torah Law and hold firmly to the testimony of YAHUSHA the Messiah (Isaiah 8:20; Revelation 14:12), as revealed through the prophetic blueprint of the lunar appointed Feast Days, and especially Passover. These sacred appointments become spiritually fulfilled within the hearts of those who synchronize their soul temples with the worship rhythm of heaven, the original full New Moon, and the correct count to the fourteenth day of Passover. In doing so, they enter into the same covenant pattern established with Moses, Aaron, and all of Yasharal (Israel) before the Exodus, journeying toward the Promised Land under the covering of the Lamb. Thus, Passover becomes far more than a memorial of deliverance from Egypt; it stands as the enduring seal of covenant loyalty between Yahuah Alahim and His faithful people through all generations on earth and throughout eternity in heaven.
The Final Call to Return
In the end, the coming conflict may prove to be far greater than a debate over Saturday or Sunday worship alone. Beneath the surface lies a deeper question of authority, allegiance, and truth itself: Will mankind continue to follow inherited systems established by human power, or will a remnant return to the original worship rhythm ordained by Yahuah Alahim at Creation? The final issue is not merely about a day, but about whether the Creator’s appointed order will once again be restored and honored above the traditions and counterfeit systems that have gradually obscured it through the centuries.
Throughout history, sincere people within every religious system have sought to honor the Most High according to the light they possessed. Yet Scripture repeatedly reveals that Yahuah calls His people forward into greater understanding as truth is restored. The warning messages of prophecy are therefore not given to condemn, but to awaken, inviting every soul to examine the foundations upon which their worship stands. The issue before the world is rapidly becoming one of covenant loyalty: whether we will follow the commandments and appointed times established by the Creator, or submit to altered systems of worship fashioned by man and received by the enemy of souls.
This is what makes the present developments so profoundly sobering. As nations, religious leaders, and political powers increasingly move toward unified expressions of worship and rest, the world may unknowingly be stepping toward the very crisis foretold in prophecy. Yet even amid growing darkness, the invitation of mercy still remains open. The Father continues to call His people to come out of confusion, to seek His ancient paths, and to restore the worship rhythm revealed through the heavenly lights from the very beginning.
The faithful remnant described in Revelation are not portrayed as perfect through their own strength, but as those who have humbled themselves before Yahuah Alahim, accepted the covering of the Lamb, and aligned their lives with His truth. They keep the Torah Law of Yahuah and hold firmly to the testimony of Yahusha haMashiach. Their worship is not governed by fear, coercion, or inherited tradition, but by love, obedience, and covenant faithfulness flowing from transformed hearts.
And so, the final appeal goes out to every seeker of truth: examine all things carefully. Test inherited traditions against Scripture, history, and the heavenly witnesses established at Creation. Seek the voice of Yahuah Alahim above the voices of institutions, leaders, and religious systems. For the hour is approaching when each soul must choose whom they will honor, whose authority they will follow, and which kingdom they will serve.
May Yahuah Alahim grant wisdom, discernment, courage, and humility to all who sincerely desire to walk in His marvelous light.
