Scripture Evidence for When the Day Begins
Scripture Evidence
for When the Day Begins

The Scripture evidence concerning the beginning of the day provides clear parameters for both DAY and NIGHT, including the details of their beginnings, endings, and relationship to one another from Creation onward. Each article and Hebrew Word Study presented below approaches the subject from a fresh yet harmonious angle, together revealing the authentic and original model of time-measuring established by our Creator. You are invited to take the time to examine this long-neglected evidence, much of which has remained hidden in plain sight.
This exposé seeks to demonstrate how far both Christian churches and Jewish synagogues have drifted from the time-centered worship rhythms of Scripture. Over the centuries, alternate systems of reckoning time were imposed, adopted, and institutionalized under the influence of Roman authority and later religious tradition. As a result, much of the world now assumes that the day begins either at midnight or at sunset, without first asking whether either model can be sustained by the full testimony of Scripture.
This study further contends that the Yahudim (Jews), during the long centuries of Roman domination and dispersion, gradually adopted calendrical practices shaped by both Roman and Babylonian influence. The resulting tradition teaches that the day begins at sunset. Yet from Genesis through Revelation, Scripture presents a consistent pattern in which “daylight” begins at sunrise and ends at sunset, as ruled by the sun, and is then followed by the night. Accordingly, the complete civil day-and-night cycle begins at sunrise and continues until the following sunrise.
The purpose of this presentation is to restore the authentic time-measuring model established at Creation for those who sincerely desire to know the truth and who have “eyes to see and ears to hear.” It is offered as a beacon calling the faithful back into harmony with their loving and compassionate Father and His benevolent Son.
Who could have imagined that the Creator’s magnificent Plan of Salvation and His remedy for sin would be so intimately connected to the TRINITY OF LIGHTS in the heavens, established from the beginning to govern sacred time? HalleluYah!
