The “Good Friday” Deception

Is There Anything Good About “Good Friday?”

Virtually every Christian church denomination holds “Good Friday” in the highest esteem, perhaps you do too. Why is this?  When and where did this custom begin? Was it the goodly promise from the beginning? Does Good Friday carry the promise of the Messiah? Does it mark the day of the crucifixion on the cross/stake of our dear and compassionate Messiah, who died that we may live?

This article’s aim is to identify, according to Scripture and history, exactly what “Good Friday” is, what it isn’t, where it came from, and whether it is “Good” and blessed by the Eternal Father as the ANCIENT PATHWAY OF TRUTH.  Is it in accordance with the time-centric PROMISE of the coming Messiah, or is it a detour of ungodly proportions?

This article was inspired by a conversation with a lovely Lutheran woman at the market the day before “Good Friday.”  

So the question remains: Is there anything good about “Good Friday” or is it a Deception?  Hold on to your hat as we embark on this journey together.

Two Paths – One Holy, One Not

There remain two paths, one Holy, sacred, and set apart by the Creator from the beginning, while the other is less than 2,000 years old and crafted by human intervention. 

1. The prescribed ANCIENT PATH, as recorded in the Old Testament Scripture, was ordained by the Most High Eternal Father as the Plan of Salvation that leads the sinner to true confession and forgiveness. It alone contains the promise of the covering of the Messiah’s blood sacrifice with a prophetic date stamp in the spring.

   
   

2. A Roman Emperor crafted an alternative path as a replacement for the principles taught in the Torah and the Law of the Old Testament. And this, for the single reason of long-held contempt for the Jews. This path completely diverges from the entire Plan of Salvation. It incorporates a different Messiah by another name on a day never mentioned in Scripture. In addition, its adherents claim that the Torah Law ended at the cross and that they are now under grace. In this way, a double reason and excuse have been augmented, giving license to all who adhere to the illegitimate solar calendar. 
   

 

What Does the Term “Good” Mean Anyway?

To begin with, let us find what Scripture has to say about the term “good.”

These first examples illustrate that all things originally made by our Creator, Alahim (God), were good and perfect. The first thing created was light, and it was good, as contrasted to darkness, which He did not create, nor did He call it good.

“And Alahim (God) saw the light, that it was good: and Alahim divided the light from the darkness.” Genesis 1:4

 

“And Alahim (God) saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.” Genesis 1:31

These next verses contrast good and evil, showing that they are opposites.

“For Alahim does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:5

 

“For Alahim shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:14

Below are some of YAHUAH Alahim’s good attributes. The truth that pervades all of Scripture is that YAHUAH Alahim (God) is GOOD. His goodness is the STANDARD for righteousness, which means right doing.

“Alahim is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

 

 “For YAHUAH is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.” Psalms 100:5

 

“Praise you YAHUAH. O give thanks unto YAHUAH; for he is good: for his mercy endures forever.” Psalms 106:1

 

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of Him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Thy Alahim reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

 

“And Jesus Yahusha said unto him, Why call thou me good? None is good, save one, that is, Alahim (God).” Luke 18:19

Yahuah Alahim and Yahusha haMashiach (the Messiah) “change not.” They always lead by example and according to their preordained and prescribed FOUNDATIONAL ANCIENT TRUTHS as found in the TORAH Law of the Old Testament.

“And Yahuah Alahim commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear [reverence] Yahuah our Alahim, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this [on that] day.” Deuteronomy 6:24

Two Opposing Paths

The following verses illustrate that there are always two options and two opposing pathways for mankind to choose from.  We have been given the freedom to choose our path, but each choice has either a penalty or a reward run the jewels x nike sb dunk low.

“Thus says YAHUAH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old [ancient] paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein.” Jeremiah 6:16

 

“They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one.” Romans 3:12

 

“Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I swear to give unto your fathers…” Deuteronomy 1:35

 

“The steps of a good man are ordered by YAHUAH: and he delights in His way. Psalms 37:23

The above verses demonstrate that whatever is considered “good” is of YAHUAH Alahim, for both the Eternal Father and Son alone are GOOD! All good things are reflections of their goodness and purity. These attributes stand alone as the standard of righteousness and holiness. They are perfect in virtue and are honored in word and deed by Yahuah Alahim and Yahusha haMashiach, who “change not.” Therefore, as outlined in Scripture, only one PATHWAY is “GOOD.” It is the ANCIENT PATH defined above in Jeremiah regarding the Old Testament Torah Law.

As a result, any teaching that diverges from this prescribed ANCIENT PATH, taking a decided detour, has moved off of the holy and sacred ground and onto the pathway of rebellion to Yahuah, whether ignorantly or with evil intent, and whether popular or not. Therefore, based on this evidence of what is considered “good,” we will now focus on the specific subject of testing whether “Good Friday” meets Scripture’s requirements for what is good.

 

Did the Following Events Really Occur on Friday? 

Now that we have discussed the characteristics that constitute “good,” we will shift our focus to the six popular teachings that have been taught for centuries. All six are tied to Friday, the sixth day of the modern Roman continuous week cycle, and attributed to Scripture’s sacred calendar, but are they?

1. In the book of Genesis, chapter one, we find that Alahim (God) created the heavens and the earth in six literal days.  We have all been taught and assumed it to be true that the creation week began on Sunday and ended on “Friday.”  Then our Creator rested from all His work on “Saturday,” the seventh-day Sabbath, for some. 2. It has long been taught that one month following the exodus from Egypt, the manna that rained down from heaven for the Yasharalites (Israelites) began on “Sunday” morning. Then each day for five days, they were to gather one day’s portion, but on “Friday,” the sixth day, they were to gather a double portion for that day and for “Saturday,” the seventh-day Sabbath.  On “Saturday,” the seventh day of this model, no manna ever fell. 3. “Friday” has been considered the preparation day, as it comes before “Saturday,” assumed to be the seventh-day Sabbath of the Jews and other Sabbatarians.  Sabbath ~ Fruit of the Tree of Time
4. The only sign given by our Messiah in Scripture that He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth following His crucifixion has been traditionally taught to have begun on “Good Friday.” Three Days and Three Nights ~ the Sign of Jonah
5. For nearly 1,700 years, Christians from every persuasion have declared that our Messiah was nailed to the cross for our sins on “Good Friday” and rose early on the morning of “Easter Sunday.” Constantine and the Week
6. The Lord’s Day is mentioned only once in the entire Bible, as found in Revelation 1:10 of the New Testament. Most Bible followers attribute this day to “Sunday” because Christianity is founded on the sacredness of “Sunday,” their customary day of worship. Others identify the Lord’s Day with “Saturday,” the seventh day, and the presumed Sabbath of the Bible and of the ancient Jews. 

   Both worship day perspectives uphold the uninterrupted seven-day weekly cycle of the Roman-Gregorian solar calendar, which designates Friday as the sixth day. To our surprise, the reasoning behind this solar model rests solely on circular assumptions rather than a clear and solid foundation model from Scripture. The solar calendar model provides no definitive framework for aligning its weeks, months, or years with the time-keeping patterns described in Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation.

   Although widely embraced in modern society, this solar arrangement lacks the authoritative legitimacy of the original lunar time-measuring system revealed in the Tabernacle ceremonies and its sacrificial system. Scripture consistently portrays a lunar-based calendar timestamp, which alone carries the storyline of the point-by-point, time-centered Plan of Salvation. Scripture identifies Passover, the 14th day counted from the New Moon, as the time-centric remedy for sin, which the Gregorian model cannot locate, nor can it inherently convey.

But despite all these very popular traditions that have been so thoroughly taught over these long centuries, is there any evidence in Scripture that Friday is the sixth day of the Biblical week or that any of the events mentioned above have occurred on Friday? No! Nada! Lo! Nein! Nann! Nee! Non! Ohi!

In every language under heaven, not one piece of evidence can be found in Scripture that can place any of these events on Friday. Why? To our surprise, “Friday” is not mentioned even once in the Old or New Testaments, whether in Hebrew or Greek.  If this weren’t enough, neither are “Saturday nor Sunday.” Not only are these days not mentioned by name, but the rhythm of their continuous weekly cycle is not found even once. While some of you may find a Bible version that includes the terms Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, translators actually inserted these, believing they are assisting the reader. The truth is, neither these weekday names nor their continuous weekly cycle rhythm exists anywhere in Scripture.  

The Evolution of the Week 

While some have surmised that because modern Jews honor Saturday today as their Kodesh (holy and sacred) seventh-day Sabbath, it is proof enough to them that Saturday is the same seventh day on the same continuous weekly cycle as the Sabbath of creation. After all, how could all the Jews lose track of their original Sabbath?

At least three Christian Sabbatarian churches, the Seventh-day Church of God, the Seventh-day Baptist Church, and the Seventh-day Adventist Church, have ascribed to this view. But have they considered when and why the Roman calendar was invented in the first place? Have they considered the recorded historical steps of the Roman calendar’s evolution and its impact on the Jews who were in Roman captivity at the time of its completion, and pressured to comply?

1. The Julian Calendar was first introduced to the world with the removal of the moon from time-measuring in 46 B.C. by Julius Caesar. Historical Quotes
2. The second factor was the invention of the continuous weekly cycle in 46 B.C. by Julius Caesar. It provided freedom from the boundaries and controls of the lunar phases, specifically the New Moon, which, according to Scripture, is a third kind of day that cannot overlap work days or seventh-day Sabbaths. 3. The third factor was the invention of the eight-day week, which was applied to the continuous weekly cycle in 46 B.C. by Julius Caesar. Historical Quotes
4. The fourth factor introduced in A.D. 321-325 by Roman Emperor  Constantine at the Council of Nicaea marked the move to change the eight-day continuous weekly cycle to that of a seven-day continuous weekly cycle. Although a seven-day week, it was now forever tied to the continuous weekly cycle of a solar calendar, divorced from the moon, which had never existed before. The authentic and original week of creation was seven days in length, and while it had a cycling function, it only cycled four times and then was broken by the New Moon Day to start the new lunar month. This feature ensured that all days of the year, month, and week were tied to their own unique lunar phases.  The solar calendar was proactively crafted to have no relation to the calendar of Scripture (Torah Law) or the faithful Hebrews, prior to their Roman captivity.  Historical Quotes
5. The fifth factor was the switch from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar in 1582. This calendar system, used by most of the world today, was designed to compensate for the inaccuracies of its predecessor, the Julian calendar. The papal bull issued by Pope Gregory XIII that year decreed that 10 days be skipped when switching to the Gregorian calendar. When calendars are discussed, this fifth factor is most often used to demonstrate that there has been no loss of time at any point. These Gregorian calendar adherents say, “Just trust us, not the Bible or your own eyes.” Julian to Gregorian Switch. 

So, where is the honest man or woman who will take the time to search a little deeper than the surface to uncover the truth that has been buried in plain sight for centuries? Or does our comfort lie in what is familiar, whether true or false? Remember also that just because something has been taught for centuries as truth, or because we sincerely believe something, doesn’t make it true. Those who are seeking a savior for their eternal destiny might do well to consider that all His work on our behalf surrounding the Plan of Salvation is aligned with the lunar, prophetic calendar model introduced at creation and restored to Moses and Aaron.  It has never been changed or altered.  

When Sincerity Fails

The story is told of a little girl who went to a petting zoo with her family. Once inside, she became terrified of being knocked down and trampled by the many larger than life animals scurrying around. Her mother, occupied with a younger sibling, was unable to attend to her and her growing fears.

    After closing her eyes tightly, she reached out with both arms for the security of her mother’s familiar nubby woolen skirt. At that very moment, a woolly llama intercepted her embrace. In apparent safety, she buried her face in the wool and held firmly for dear life, knowing all this would shortly pass as she would soon be on the other side of the protection of the gate.

   After some time of moving about the pen, she opened her eyes just enough to peer out. To her dismay, her mother and siblings were on the far side of the petting zoo. In abject horror, she released her grip!

     All the time her eyes were closed, she had believed with all sincerity that she was holding onto the protection of her mother’s skirt, only to discover she had been mistakenly clinging to the very beast she feared. 

Being sincere in one’s beliefs is simply not enough. For when our eyes are opened, some will discover only too late that they had been erroneously clinging to the very Beast Power they feared, as described in Revelation 13:16-17.  

Parameters of the Forbidden Calendar of Scripture

The evidence from Scripture illustrates a supernatural and prophetic calendar model was recorded there from the beginning of time and continues to exist to the very end, based upon the trinity of lights in the heavens. At creation, the earth was placed within the circle of its own clock and calendar so that all, both small and great, rich and poor, may discern the call to worship. Yet, stunningly, portions of this time-measuring model have been altogether forbidden by the ruling powers and their minions here on Earth. 

“And Alahim said, ‘Let there be LIGHTS in the firmament of the shamayim (heavens) to divide the DAYLIGHT from the NIGHT; and let them be for SIGNS, AND FOR SPECIFIC LUNAR APPOINTED DATES, AND YEARS.’”  Genesis 1:14 (Note the restored text.)

 

“He ordained the MOON for SEASONS (Seasons = #4150 – mo’edim – specific lunar appointed dates); the brilliant rays of the SUN reveal and endue it, making known its entrance [in the east].”  Psalms 104:19   (This explains what governs the time-element of “SEASONS and/or FEAST DAYS” in Genesis 1:14 and Leviticus 23:2-4.)

 

“It shall be established FOREVER like the MOON, even like the FAITHFUL WITNESS in the sky.”  Psalms 89:37 

Of great importance is the unearthing in Genesis 1:14 of the term “seasons.” The solar adherents conveniently utilized it as a replacement term to cover up the fact that seasons = mo’edim equals “LUNAR APPOINTED TIME.” So when applied to this verse correctly, it now specifically reads:  “and let them be for SIGNS, AND FOR SPECIFIC LUNAR APPOINTED DAYS AND YEARS.”  This single translation restoration causes ALL DAYS of EVERY YEAR TO BE ORDERED AND NUMBERED ACCORDING TO THE MOON’S LUNAR PHASES. 

After discovering that the Hebrew word “mo’ed or mo’edim” (H#4150), whether singular or plural, literally means specific lunar appointed dates, it has been applied to Leviticus 23:1-5 of Scripture’s Torah Law to see how it might read. Then, the most amazing thing happened. It was discovered in detail that the seventh-day Sabbaths and the annual Feast days are all measured according to the same lunar appointed time beginning in Genesis chapter one. As a result, imagine just how far we have all fallen from the truth over these past centuries. But restoration is possible because we have found the original and authentic call to worship on Yahuah Alahim’s consistent and unchanging ANCIENT PATH.  The only pathway unto Salvation that highlights the lunar appointed Feast Day celebrations of the Messiah’s work to save you and me will be RESTORED AT THE END OF TIME.  

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.”  But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book even to the time of the end.  Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”  Daniel 12:3-4

The Rhythm of the Tabernacle and Sacrifices Were Lunar

According to Leviticus 23 and Numbers 28-29, every day of the year, as well as the Holy Feast Days, were tied to a lunar date, not a solar one. Each is synchronized with its count from the Full Moon as the start of years and months and aligned with the authentic lunar seventh-day Sabbath. This unbreakable bond between lunar time beaconed from the heavens and Feast Day events extends to every aspect of the sanctuary service and its time-centered sacrificial system.

The scale of the sacrifices underscores the profound significance attributed to that holy day.  Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day) was set apart as the inaugural marker of the Creator’s annual lunar cycle, thereby establishing the framework for every ordinary workday, New Moon Day, lunar seventh‑day Sabbath, and lunar appointed Feast Days throughout the year. The detailed sacrificial prescriptions recorded in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 28–29 function as what might be termed our Creator’s “Rules of Engagement.” 

In this light, the sacrificial calendar is established as the MASTER KEY of TIME and PROPHECY. As the Master Key, it unlocks both the measure of sacred time and the unfolding blueprint of the Plan of Salvation. This is accomplished by revealing the precise pattern of years, months, weeks, and days within the lunar‑appointed system, forever tying the sacrificial schedule to the lunar phase count from each Full New/Renewed Moon Day. This was the calendar of choice orchestrated and SIGNED by our Creator in the heavens and SEALED by our Messiah on earth, as He hung on the cross for you and me on Passover, the 14^th day counted from the Full New/Renewed Moon Day.  All who seek His face and align their soul temples to His Grand Design will one day soon be DELIVERED.

Notice how each of the sacrifices designates a specific kind of day, whether work days, New Moon Days, or lunar seventh-day Sabbaths. The yearly lunar appointed Feast Days are then fixed according to these designations. This fact renders it impossible for any of these kinds of days to overlap with each other. They are fixed as a perfect gear system in time. As long as these rules are adhered to, the Creator’s correct holy day placements can be found and celebrated in accordance with His unique and ordained worship rhythm.

 

Does Leviticus 23 Identify Both Sabbaths and Feast Days as Lunar?

Is your Church hell-bent on proving that weeks and Sabbaths have no relation to the ANCIENT Hebrew lunar calendar model? Consider the following evidence from Leviticus 23:1-5.

Specific Lunar Appointed Dates = (H#4150 mo’ed – singular, mo’edim – plural) and Rehearsal Assembly Events = (H#4744 miqra). 

    “And declared Yahuah unto Moses, saying,

   ‘Speak unto the children of Yasharal (Israel), and command them concerning the specific lunar appointed dates (H#4150 mo’edim) of Yahuah, which you shall proclaim My Kadosh (Holy and set-apart) rehearsal assemblies (H#4744 miqra). These are themselves My specific lunar appointed dates (H#4150 mo’edim): [note the colon]

    Six days from sunrise to sunset you shall do your work, but in the day of the seventh it is the Sabbath-rest to observe the covenant, a Kadosh (Holy and set-apart) rehearsal assembly (H#4744 miqra) in which you shall do no work, for it is the Sabbath unto Yahuah in all your dwellings.

 

[Second category of specific lunar appointed dates – DRUM ROLL…]

 

    These are the specific lunar appointed dates (H#4150 mo’edim) of Yahuah, the Kadosh (Holy and set-apart) rehearsal assemblies (H#4744 miqra), which you shall proclaim as SIGNS [of prophetic events to be fulfilled by the Messiah alone] at their specific lunar appointed dates (H#4150 mo’edim):

    In the lunar month (H#2320 chodesh), the first one of the year, in the fourteenth day counted from the New Moon (H#2320 chodesh), between (H#996 beyn) the evenings (plural twilights) (H#6153 ereb), is the PASSOVER (Pasch) of Yahuah.'”  Leviticus 23:1-5 

The annual specific lunar appointed dates (H#4150 mo’edim), often referred to as lunar Feast Days, follow sequentially each year according to the lunar principles outlined in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 28-29. It is because the seventh-day Sabbaths are also identified as specific lunar appointed dates (H#4150 mo’edim) that each of the yearly Feast Days is dually tied to both its date stamp relative to the seventh-day Sabbath and to the count from the New Moon, just like a GPS unit. This fact renders weeks and Sabbaths that cycle perpetually without end a Scriptural impossibility. It exposes the Roman replacement calendar, with continuous weekly cycles and days named after the planetary gods, from Sun-day through Saturn-day, as fraudulent impostors.

So, if you answered “Yes” to the question above about whether your church is hell-bent on maintaining the establishment of or proving the week and Sabbath cycles without end and has no ties to the lunar years, months, weeks, or days, then what does this tell you?  

1. Does it tell you they eagerly seek truth as for buried treasure? No!
2. Does it tell you they seek to walk in obedience to the Torah Law and the Testimony of the Messiah as found in Isaiah 8:20?  “To the Torah Law and to the Testimony [of the Messiah] if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”  No!
3. Does their behavior illustrate that if they are shown the truth that they desire above all things to set things right? No!
4. Does it mean they have either willingly or unwittingly followed the customs and traditions of their honored leaders over a cliff of false teachings and are unwilling to change a thing, as identified in Titus 1:14 “…Giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.”  Yes!
5. Although there are many good works accomplished among them, are any of these Christian churches, Synagogues, Theologians, Popes, perceived modern prophets, Pastors, Rabbis, or Reformers leading their members toward RESTORING THE ANCIENT LUNAR PATH appointed as the BLUEPRINT & REMEDY UNTO ETERNAL SALVATION as performed by the authentic Messiah? Or is it generally tossed aside with the claim that these ancient laws, lunar time-centric calendar, New Moons, lunar Sabbaths, and Feast Days were all done away with on the cross of Calvary, claiming “We are no longer under the LAW but under GRACE? 

Can Sacred New Moon Days and Lunar Sabbaths Overlap?

It is important to note that because both the lunar seventh-day Sabbaths and the yearly prophetic rehearsal assembly events are both specific lunar appointed dates (H#4150 mo’edim), they can never overlap for the simple reason they are measured from the same full New Moon lunar phase (H#2320 Chodesh) every month. 

On the other hand, when using the Roman Gregorian solar wall calendar or its equivalent, the New Moons float through weekdays and Saturdays alike, causing them to overlap consistently. The overlapping of New Moon lunar phases with Saturdays is a paradigm only enjoyed by the Pagan Roman solar adherents or their equivalent. This includes the Jews who proactively combine two calendar models—the solar and the lunar—through a uniquely crafted process called the Four Rules of Postponement.  Like oil and water, without this interface, these two calendar models can never appear to be harmonized, although they may seem so fraudulently.

Might the introduction and usage of the Roman solar calendar be the very reason why the New Moons, lunar Sabbaths, and the Lunar Feast Days are no longer recognized as viable? It is simply impossible to locate lunar Sabbaths and Feast Days according to the Roman calendar, which has weeks that cycle without end. Anyone seeking to place lunar Feast days on a solar calendar with continuous weekly cycles will need to adopt the Jews’ Four Rules of Postponement. Could this be why it cannot be done by any group that continues to align with the solar calendar’s rhythms? YES! YES! It can only be accomplished by discarding the solar calendar and restoring the Creator’s original.    

 

Both New Moon Days and Sabbath Days are Holy

The following verses from Scripture, which all Christian churches have long ignored, illustrate that the Ancient Hebrews in the prophet Ezekiel’s day were required by none other than the Almighty YAHUAH Alohim, our Creator, to assemble for worship on both New Moon Days and lunar Sabbaths. Did you know there were two kinds of sacred days to be kept, Kadosh (holy), each month in addition to the other specific lunar appointed Feast Days? (Click on the image to enlarge it.) The East Gate was closed for the six workdays of the week, but it was opened on New Moon Days and on the four authentic lunar Sabbaths each month, as counted from the full New Moon.     

    “Thus declares the Almighty YAHUAH, “the GATE of the courtyard interior facing the EAST shall be SHUT six days for work, and in the day of the SABBATH it shall be thrown open wide, and in the day of the NEW MOON it shall be thrown open wide.  

     But come unto the exalted one, by way of the porch of the temple gate without, and stand beside the doorpost of the gate and observe the Kohenim’s (Priest’s) symbolic first and last burnt offering and symbolic Aleph and Tav peace offering. 

    And you shall prostrate in worship upon the threshold of the open GATE, coming and going at any time, but the GATE shall not be shut until sunset.”  And so WORSHIPED the people of the land at the entrance way of the same GATE, in the SABBATHS and in the NEW MOON DAYS, before the face of YAHUAH.”  Ezekiel 46:1-3

 

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says YAHUAH. Isaiah 66:23

So it is that the Most High, Yahuah Alahim, the Creator of this world, who alone is GOOD, ordained His worship rhythm, His lunar months, specific lunar Sabbath dates, and specific lunar appointed Feast Days according to the moon and its lunar phases. (Psalms 104:19, Psalms 89:37)

Is Everyone Brainwashed?

When we are taught a calendar model from childhood, our paradigms become fixed because we accept it without question. We never considered that there was ever another time-measuring option, whether in Scripture, in ancient times, or available to people today. Some circles of thought might describe this phenomenon as brainwashing. Brainwashing may be a factor, but only if the Roman-Gregorian solar calendar model can be shown to fit the following qualities and circumstances from the beginning:

Criteria for Brainwashing

1. The Julian solar calendar had to be designed as a replacement time-measuring system for that of the Torah Scriptures of the Old Testament that only speaks of the lunar calendar model with its New Moon to begin years, months, and count of weeks and days.
2. It had to be legislated not only upon the pagan nations but also upon the Hebrew Nation of Israel.
3. It had to be enforced under penalty of death, that all the citizens, free ir jordan 3 whataburger custom or captive, under the umbrella of the authority of the Roman Empire had to give up the entire Torah Law of Scripture, along with the New Moon Days, lunar Sabbaths and Feast Days.
4. Alterations to Historical Records had to occur on some level to cause it to appear the continuous seven-day cycle has always existed
5. Bible Translations from Hebrew and Greek to the modern languages had to take license to fanagle some terms to appear to support the modern solar calendar. This was necessary to provide a smooth transition from a lunar calendar paradigm to that of a solar paradigm, from a lunar week that cycles four times following the New Moon Day to a week that cycles irregardless of the moon. 

Testing the Evidence

Now, let’s test this out to see if the Roman solar calendar was ever proactively intended to replace the calendar of the sacred Word through coercion.

That Roman legislation was designed to switch all territorial subjects from one religious calendar view to another.  All the followers of the Messiah who adhered to the Torah Law, with its New Moon Days, lunar Sabbath Days, and Lunar Appointed Feast Days, were compelled to observe the new Roman “Christian” calendar and its new Roman holidays. Thus, Passover and all the other lunar Biblical Feast days, including the New Moons and lunar Sabbaths, were replaced at the same time by the newly modified Roman calendar in A.D. 325, which included the creation of “Good Friday” and Easter Sunday.   

The Creed of the Constantinople Church is the “Christian” legacy established by Emperor Constantine.  It was predominantly designed to abolish all things related to the hated Yahudim (Jews) within the Roman Empire, but over time, it covertly undermined the obedience of all the world to the Scripture’s Old Testament Torah Law. The very LAW created as an outline of instruction, testifying to the time-centric prophetic revelation of the authentic Messiah’s mediatorial work of salvation, was relegated to the trash bin. Just like that! This ancient path of truth, specifically recorded for His followers through the ages, was now nearly lost and hidden from view, heading down the conveyor belt to Gehenna’s eternal burn pile. Such a tragedy in light of its original design to provide a path, the Plan of Salvation, to save mankind.  It had been a sign of faithfulness to the Most High Yahuah Alahim, providing the method for His followers to harmonize their soul temples to His unique worship rhythm.

The Required Oath of Obedience to the Christian Creed

The following oath was to be recited by all the dedicated Roman subjects who would adhere to the Creed. This was to be the foundation of all the Protestant churches that desired to be included in the “Christian” persuasion, although a detour from the original path. 

“I accept all customs, rites, legalism, and feasts [holidays] of the Romans, sacrifices, prayers, purifications with water, sanctifications by Pontificus Maximus (high priests of Rome), propitiations, and feasts [holidays], and the New Sabbath Sol dei (day of the sun) [on a new perpetual weekly cycle], all new chants and observances, and all the foods and drinks of the Romans. In other words, I absolutely accept everything Roman, every new law, rite and custom, of Rome, and the New Roman Religion.”  A Profession of Faith from the Church of Constantinople in the year 325 C.E. Then, as this new “Christian” religion was firmly established with all of its tenets entirely opposed to the Torah Law of Yahuah Alahim, all who disobeyed were targeted as heretics.

“We shall now especially consider heretics, who… call themselves Nazarenes [Natsarim – the early followers of Messiah]; they are mainly Jews and nothing else. They make use not only of the New Testament, but they also use in a way the Old Testament of the Jews; for they do not forbid the books of the [TORAH] Law, the Prophets, and the Writings… so that they are approved of by the Jews, from whom the Nazarenes do not differ in anything, and they profess all the dogmas pertaining to the prescriptions of the [TORAH] Law and to the customs of the Jews, except they [also] believe in Messiah… They preach that there is but one god, and his son Jesus [Yahusha]. But they are very learned in the Hebrew language; for they, like the Jews, read the whole [TORAH] Law, then the Prophets… They differ from the Jews because they believe in Messiah, and from the Christians, in that they are to this day bound to the Jewish rites, such as circumcision, the Sabbath, and the other ceremonies [New Moon Days, lunar Sabbaths, lunar appointed Feast Days].” Jerome – Epiphanius; Panarion 29; translated from the Greek.

So to answer the question, “Was everyone brainwashed? It appears to be true, as in the beginning, the new Roman calendar was legislated and forced upon the entire empire under the penalty of death. And since then, we have ALL bought into the lie for the simple reason that when propaganda is declared often enough, loud enough, and over a long enough period, it is ultimately believed to be the UNCONTESTED TRUTH. 

Have the Jews Ever Returned to Their Ancient Paths?

With a lunar month calendar in one hand and a solar calendar’s cycling week in the other, the Rabbinical Pharisees now faced total calendar chaos. The resulting problem necessitated the crafting of a new set of rules, which they referred to as the Four Rules of Postponement.  Its purpose was to bring harmony to the two conflicting calendar methods. Without these rules, their newly adopted Roman week cycles were on a collision course with their Babylonian-styled lunar months, depositing “Saturday Sabbaths” upon every day of the lunar cycle throughout the year, including New Moon Days and all the annual lunar Feast Days.

So, to keep their new “Saturday Sabbath” from falling on their new pseudo-Passover and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), these rules of postponing the Feast Days by one or two days were implemented. It was determined that if a lunar Feast Day was destined to occur on a Friday or Saturday, it must be postponed to protect the required and immovable Saturday at all costs, rather than the other way around. Thus, Saturday, the seventh day of a pagan manmade institution, took precedence.

The mere fact that the Jews continue the tradition of utilizing their own invention of the Four Rules of Postponement to try to bring harmony to the two partial calendar models is the greatest evidence that they have NEVER, to this day, returned to the Kodesh (holy and sacred) calendar once given them for safekeeping. This little example illustrates that the Jews remain in Roman captivity today, as do all people of the world who have adopted Rome’s calendar rhythm and pseudo-holy days, which they call Roman Holidays.  Might this be why, at the very end of time, as recorded in Revelation 18:4, the Eternal Father and Son will be heard calling: “BABYLON IS FALLEN, IS FALLEN!” “COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE, THAT YOU BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS, AND RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES!”

So What About “Good Friday?”

So, back to the original question, “Is there anything good about Good Friday, or is it a Deception?” Based on the Scripture verses and historical quotes, what evidence is presented in support of the points below?

• Is Good Friday part of the goodly ordained prescription of the ANCIENT PATHS as given by YAHUAH Alahim (God), from the Torah Law of Scripture? No!
• Did Good Friday align with the calendar of the Hebrews, before they went into Roman captivity? No!
• Is either the name “Friday,” or its continuous weekly cycle mentioned anywhere in Scripture? No!
• Is there any evidence that “Good Friday” was ordained by YAHUAH Alahim, the Creator of this world? No!
• Is there any evidence that “Friday” is “Good” and was the ordained prescription for mankind as it relates to YAHUAH (YHUH) Alahim, the only one who is GOOD? No!
• Does “Good Friday” mark the exact day of the week and month that our Messiah laid down His life for sinners, that we may celebrate that day? No!
• Is there evidence that “Good Friday” was masterminded by Roman Emperors specifically as a replacement for the original and authentic lunar appointed Feast Day of Passover (Pasch), the fourteenth day counted from the full New Moon in spring? YES!
• Has the Good Friday teaching detoured the otherwise faithful in many Christian denominations to be blinded and deceived? YES!

And if the above points are true, does it make sense that the GOOD and original lunar-appointed Feast Day of PASSOVER (Pasch) should be RESTORED to its original position of honor for celebrating and exposing this “Good Friday” tradition as the well-oiled detour and deception that it is? 

Passover the Remedy to the Mark of the Beast

From Scripture’s Torah Law of instruction, PASSOVER was ordained to be the SIGN and COVERING of the faithful to YAHUAH Alahim for all time.  It is found on the hand, illustrated by one’s actions, and on the forehead, illustrated by one’s thoughts and decisions to obey.  

It [Passover/Pasch] shall be as a SIGN to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes that Yahuah’s Torah Law [of instruction] may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Yahuah has brought you out of Egypt. You shall therefore keep this ordinance [Passover] in its season [#4150 mo’edah – lunar appointed time] from year to year. Exodus 13:9-10

According to Exodus 12:1-10 and Leviticus 23:4-5, PASSOVER (Pasch) is only found by counting 14 days from the full New Moon of Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day) in the spring.  No other calendar model can locate this most Kodesh (holy and sacred) day of our Messiah’s great sacrifice upon the cross/stake for you and me. This marvelous 14th day, counted from the full New Moon of Rosh Hashanah, alone identifies the authentic Messiah, Yahusha haMashiach, in contrast to the counterfeit. Through Him alone comes the promise of forgiveness for our confessed sins unto ETERNAL LIFE.  Passover was the first step He performed on our behalf in the seven-part Plan of Salvation to restore sinners back to the Eternal Father.  

In fact, only the authentic PASSOVER is the SEAL OF YAHUAH ALAHIM. It was ordained as the covering of protection through obedience to the Torah Law and to the Testimony of the Messiah, which was long promised from the beginning of sin. Its provision is date-stamped and manifests through Yahusha haMashiach (our Messiah) alone, as the only remedy and antidote to the MARK OF THE BEAST.

The Six-Thousand-Year-Old Target of the Enemy of Souls

There is a reason that Passover, as counted 14 days from the full New Moon of Rosh Hashanah, along with all the other lunar appointed Feast Days, has been the target of the Enemy of Souls. This is because it is the prophetic layout from the fall of Adam and Eve to the end of time that illustrates step-by-step the ANCIENT PATH of the PLAN OF SALVATION, the REMEDY for SIN.

Together, like bread crumbs in the snow, all of the ancient Feast Days were ordained to be followed continually, as they were designed to lead and restore the obedient followers, Jew and Gentile alike, back to the Eternal Father. This alone is the time-centric prescription of the ANCIENT PATH designed so that you and I may “Follow the Lamb whithersoever He goes.” Any alternate path is a detour of the Enemy of Souls, causing its adherents to miss the mark.  And no matter how sincere one is about “Good Friday,” there is no power on earth, nor can time or tradition sanctify and transform this long-held lie into the truth.

Ironically, when it is realized that neither PASSOVER nor the spilled blood and Seal of Yahuah’s covering is tied to “GOOD FRIDAY,” only then will it be grasped that neither Saturday nor Sunday can be tied to the holy, sacred, and set apart seventh-day Sabbath standard as recorded in Scripture.  

Ultimately, when we share the truth on this weighty subject, it is not to criticize but to show that there remains a greater blessing in knowing the truth of Yahuah’s original prescription for Salvation. The Eternal Father desires that you and I be covered by the blood of the Lamb of Yahusha haMashiach, His authentic and only begotten Son. Passover, as it was fulfilled by the Messiah, is the only ordained antidote to receiving the Mark of the Beast. This benevolent prescription was divinely designed as the door to Eternal Life through His blood sacrifice, date-stamped on the 14th day counted from Rosh Hashanah in the spring.   HalleluYAH!!!
