Hi, my name is Jim. I have discovered that Saturday is the seventh-day Sabbath, and Sunday is the Mark of the Beast, and I believe this is 100% CORRECT. CAN YOU PROVE ME WRONG?
ANSWER
There is NO DEBATE because Saturday is the seventh day of the popular Roman Gregorian solar calendar. The elephant in the room is the discovery that the Roman Julian/Gregorian calendar itself is a fraud and a counterfeit. It is a manmade and illegitimate calendar that was proactively divorced from the moon and all the biblical units of time as early as the 4th century A.D. This was then forced upon the Roman Empire and later promoted throughout the whole earth.
In contrast, the Creator’s original Sabbath was set forth and defined by the trinity of the sun, moon, and stars (Genesis 1:14), yet with the moon being primary for announcing YEARS in spring, lunar MONTHS, count to lunar Sabbaths, and lunar appointed Feast Days.
Our modern calendar is a Roman man-made replacement time-measuring system, which ALL THE WORLD was taught to follow since the fourth century A.D. By design, it was proactively crafted by Emperor Constantine, in rebellion to the Creator, His Torah Law, New Moons, and authentic lunar seventh-day Sabbaths. As a result, it, as a whole, has become the SIGN or MARK OF THE BEAST. So, by extension, Saturday is Sunday’s twin sister and has NEVER been the true Sabbath of our Creator, except occasionally when the Lunar Sabbath coincides with it.
The Mark of the Beast
It is easy to think that the Jews have never lost track of the Sabbath, yet throughout the history of Yasharal (Israel), they were continually falling away and walking after the pagan ways of the heathen nations around them. As a result, Yahuah caused them to go into captivity or dispersed them among the nations, no longer to carry the torch of truth as found in the Torah Law, but even caused them to forget all of it.
Yahuah has always held His people accountable to obedience to His Torah Laws, including the statutes, judgments, testimonies, and Ten Commandments; the same is true today. Two of the most significant sister lies perpetrated upon humanity by way of the Christian church are that the Torah Law is no longer viable and that GRACE exists outside the Torah Law, requiring only that one believes. Stunningly, grace only exists in the full and viable presence of the Torah Law. Therefore, obedience remains a sign of honor and allegiance, while GRACE remains sufficient for all humanity from the throne above. Grace is only grace as it stands together with the Torah Law.
” And he [beast power] shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” Dani’el (Daniel) 7:25
“And they [Yasharal/Israel] will forget all My [Torah] law and all My commandments and all My judgments, and will go astray as to new moons, and Sabbaths, and festivals, and jubilees, and ordinances.” Book of Jubilees 1:14

“This I say therefore, and testify in Yahuah, that you henceforth walk not as other nations walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of Alahim (God) through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their hearts.” Ephesians 4:17-18
This disobedience is tied to the book of Revelation, which has something to say about pagan practices… and “ALL the world followed after the Beast” rather than honoring Yahuah’s Torah Law. But our Messiah died to pay the redemption price for you and your sins. And just as in the first Exodus, today He is calling His faithful out of the false teachings and traditions of Babylon, Egypt, and Rome. Then, similarly, He equips us to resist the lies and false teachings of both the modern Jews and Christian churches, their corrupt calendars with counterfeit years, months, weeks, and pagan holidays.
Strikingly, these have become the foundation of this world’s fallen civilization as we know it today. As depicted throughout Scripture, our Creator’s lunar-focused calendar remains in effect and will be the line in the sand. And while Yahuah calls you to come over to His side because we have all been on the wrong side of the Creator’s authentic and original calendar rhythm for worshiping the true Alahim (YHUH), the choice will ultimately be yours.

“And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. . . And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:2

Under the cloak of “Christianity” and the reception of its long-standing calendar improvisation, the entire world has “WONDERED AFTER THE BEAST” of Revelation 13:3. But the Messiah, who paid the price for you and me, is calling for His faithful followers to “come out” (ecclesia) and be separate from the world, that we may not receive of her plagues. Now is the time to disentangle from the yoke of unbelievers and their false ideologies that are found nowhere in Scripture and be separate. The Torah Law is TRUTH (Psalms 119:142), and TRUTH is the light that penetrates the darkness that all mankind may be drawn to.
Neither Saturday nor Sunday
Neither Saturday nor Sunday is mentioned anywhere in Scripture for several remarkable reasons. One is that the continuous weekly cycle will never synchronize with a lunar month. Scripture describes the YEARS, MONTHS, WEEKS, and DAYS as LUNAR, commencing with the New Moon Day. From there, we are to count four weeks in a row and then start a new month with the next New Moon Day. The fact that the New Moon Day exists every single month is the greatest evidence that the ordained weekly cycle is broken once every lunation (the demarcation of 29-30 lunar phases that make up a lunar month).
The modern Roman calendar was proactively designed to oppose the Creator and His TORAH LAW of Scripture. In A.D. 325, Emperor Constantine maintained much of what Julius Caesar had legislated in the mid-1st century B.C. regarding eliminating the moon and its lunar phases for timekeeping. Essentially, the moon was divorced from nearly all time-measuring. What Constantine did was to change Julius Caesar’s eight-day continuous weekly cycle to that of seven. He then made Sunday, the first day of the newly revised week, and Saturday, the seventh, neither of which had held that position previously on any calendar. The image below shows that Saturday was day one, and Friday was day seven before the Constantinian change. This is further evidence that the modern week carries no ties to the Biblical week that began at creation and its seventh-day Sabbath held in highest honor by all the Patriarchs and Prophets of old, including King David, Jeremiah, Daniel, our Messiah, and His disciples. As found only on the replacement Roman calendar system, Saturday had never held any sacred position among the Hebrews (Jews) while they were faithful to the Torah Law of Scripture. Then, instead of calling for all his empire to keep the NEW seventh day sacred in honor of His newly upgraded Julian calendar, Constantine legislated Sunday, the first day of the solar calendar, as holding the highest honor for worship. This has caused faithful Sunday keepers to be double-tricked and those who assumed Saturday to be the authentic seventh-day Sabbath to be honoring a lie. Because the Hebrews (Jews) remained under the iron thumb of Rome, they were pressured to fall in line and comply with their captors. By then, they had been in Roman captivity for nearly 300 years. In contrast to the newly formed Christian Church and its Sunday sacredness, the Hebrews (Jews) were required to adopt as sacred Constantine’s seventh day (Saturday) of His new seven-day continuous weekly cycle, which they had entirely severed from the moon, the sacred prescription of the CREATOR, YHUH Alahim.
So not only did this new continuous weekly cycle not harmonize with the Creator’s lunar week count from one New Moon to another (Isaiah 66:23), but now the first day of this new week style was elevated to the highest status, as the “Lord’s Day” for all Christendom. This arrangement divorced for all time to come, the Roman Catholic Church’s ties to the Torah Law and the TRUTHS of the Old Testament Scripture, and by extension included all her daughter protestant churches. Just 25 years later, the Jews succumbed to the pressure and entirely gave up their calendar and the statutes of the Torah Law, which they were given the charge to preserve. Today, not only the Romans but also the Rabbinical Pharisee Jews and Karaite Jews maintain not a single unit of time in harmony with Scripture.
This new Roman week continued to utilize the names of the pagan planetary gods that had been in place since the time of Julius Caesar, all in bold defiance to the Creator and one TRUE ALAHIM (God). So, in answer to all those who tenaciously cling to the continuous weekly cycle, believing that it continues to align with the Creation story in Scripture and that only the names were changed, consider that you are misinformed and ignorant of the facts. All the world was sold this lie. For this reason, at the end of time, a call is given to COME OUT! The Christian Creed – the Forgotten Foundation of All Christian Churches.
“And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.” Shemot (Exodus) 23:13
- Neither Saturday nor Sunday are mentioned in Scripture.
- Julius Caesar divorced the months and the weeks from the moon providing a smorgasboard of options. He made the months of varying lengths and caused his new eight-day week to cycle without end, all with no New Moon Day boundary markers for the start and end of lunar months.
- The rhythm of Emperor Constantine’s continuous seven-day weekly cycle was proactively caused to NEVER harmonize with the creation story as found in the Torah Law of Scripture.
- Today, neither the Roman Gregorian solar calendar nor the Jewish lunar calendar aligns with a single unit of time as presented in Scripture. Both were proactively designed to be in opposition to our Creator’s sacred worship rhythm ensuring that our corporate worship is never synchronized with that of His.
- Our Creator has required of His people to never make mention of the names of other gods, and this includes the names of the months and days of the week.
Historical Evidence
No debate. Saturday is the seventh day of the modern Roman calendar. There are mountains of evidence as to why the Roman calendar was created. Its predominant purpose was in rebellion with the Most High and hatred for the Jews, with a concerted determination to undermine the Creator’s appointed New Moons and true Sabbaths of Scripture’s Torah Law, as kept by the ancient Hebrews. The Roman emperors ensured that not even one unit of time in their calendar would correspond to that of Scripture.
History records how, during the long years in captivity that began in 70 A.D., the Jews themselves ultimately succumbed to the intense Roman pressure to give up their true calendar system with its correct New Moons and Sabbaths. In the wake of the destruction of the earthly temple and its Levitical system, this was further aggravated by the rise to power of the Rabbinical Pharisees and their determined allegiance to the oral law that soon became the Talmud, in opposition to the Scripture’s Torah Law. Who Marches to the Beat of the Enemy’s Drum?
Ask yourself why it is that some Saturday keeping Churches and some other denominations can identify the Roman power as the BEAST OF REVELATION and then excuse themselves from the obvious, a deep-seated tradition of marching to the beat of the Roman drum, by way of the rhythm of her witty calendar invention? This 2,000-year-old calendar was, in part, invented by Julius Caesar in the first century B.C. and was later improved upon by Emperor Constantine and, still later, Pope Gregory. Strikingly, the only people who march to the rhythm of their enemy’s calendar and her holidays are prisoners and captives, or worse yet, the ignorant, who don’t even recognize they have been captured. This is a triple problem for Seventh-day Adventists. They continue to trust their perceived prophetess, Ellen White, to have accurately received the Saturday Sabbath revelation directly from “the LORD.”
And while neither Saturday nor Sunday is ever mentioned in Scripture, the New Moon and its count to the 15th day, marking it as the true Sabbath, is recorded over 300 times. This number is more than twice the number of times the Sabbath is mentioned. Folks, who will you believe and follow, a popular growing church denomination with brilliant Theologians, Pastors, with dynamic TV programming, or a thus says the Most High, YHUH (YAHUAH) ALAHIM? Ask yourself:
- Who is my final Judge?
- Who is in charge of my eternal destiny in heaven and hell?
- Who is more likely to deceive me, Scripture or a presumed modern prophet and her paid church denominational leaders?
Then, by the power of the Most High, YAHUAH Alahim, let Him guide you forward, ever upward into all TRUTH.
Ancient Calendars
Consider researching ancient calendars, i.e., the Scriptural Hebrew calendar, for yourself. Discover that the biblical year never begins in winter but in spring. Both the YEARS and MONTHS always began on the New Moon Day. The days started at sunrise and not midnight as kept by the Romans, or sunset as sworn to by the modern Rabbinical Pharisee Jews, who caved to the pressure and changed their entire calendar in the fourth century A.D. And all the sacred days remain LUNAR time-centric prophetic rehearsals that point to the most sacred ministry of the Messiah alone, on behalf of mankind, unto salvation. The Creator’s Calendar of Scripture was never to include any pagan holidays such as Easter and Christmas. If these are honored in your place of worship, it is the surest sign you are in a pagan assembly.
Yet, today, all the churches that claim to be “Bible Believers” have ascribed to themselves not only the pagan calendar layout for years, months, weeks, and days, but ALL, or most of their corresponding pagan holiday celebrations. Not even one of the Creator’s sacred days remains intact in their time-measuring system. They have bought into the lie that they are no longer under the TORAH LAW but under GRACE. Most believe the change occurred at the cross of our Messiah, but truth be told, it occurred in A.D. 325 at the Council of Nicaea.
And don’t get me wrong, we are absolutely under GRACE! But GRACE only exists in the presence of the fullness and viability of His intact and all-inclusive TORAH LAW. Refer to the article, LAW vs. GRACE – An Oxymoron.
Well-groomed Sabbath Paradigms
Some of you are brazenly confident regarding your well-groomed Saturday Sabbath paradigm, as was clarified in the question at the top of this article. But might it be because the continuous weekly cycle is all you have ever known, whether worshiping on Saturday or Sunday? Do you find yourself faithfully returning week after week, sipping from the pastor’s cup of tradition, sweet to the taste, yet steeped in doctrines that keep you numb to the truth of Scripture? Scripture exposes this error and reveals the truth as quite a different story.
It has been discovered that the term translated as “seasons” in Genesis 1:14 is the Hebrew word (#4150 – mo’edim), which specifically means lunar appointed times. It does not mean the seasons of the year. The greatest evidence for this is found in Psalms 104:19.
“He ordained the MOON for
SEASONS(#4150 – mo’edim – lunar appointed times); the brilliant rays of the SUN reveal and endue it [the moon], making known its entrance [in the east].” Tehilim (Psalms) 104:19
Notice how Scripture explains that the MOON determines when these appointed times of worship will occur. Then, this is backed up with another verse from the Psalms:
“It shall be established FOREVER like the MOON, even like the trustworthy WITNESS in the sky. Tehilim (Psalms) 89:37
The Moon was given charge of announcing all sacred assembly events.
Measured From One New Moon to the Next
The Sabbath of Scripture and creation was APPOINTED to cycle from one New Moon to another, as in “from New Moon to New Moon.” This is the point upon which lunar months and weeks start and stop and then are refreshed again, for the simple reason that the New Moon Day stands alone and is NOT part of the cycle of four seven-day weeks.
There is no word or example in Scripture or any illusion that our Creator designed WEEKS to cycle without end or with no relation to the trinity of LIGHTS of the sun, moon, and stars. Conversely, many examples illustrate that the NEW YEAR (Rosh Hashanah) begins on the New Moon Day, MONTHS commence on the New Moon Days, and WEEKS are counted from the New Moon Day. DAYS are uniquely demarcated by each lunar phase, counting from 1-29 or 30, starting their count on the New Moon Day.
“For according as the shamayim (starry abode), the New Moons, and the earth: The New Moon that I fashioned and placed in this order was appointed for My chief corner [stone], declares Yahuah. Wherefore, it [the full New Moon] establishes and confirms your name and your descendants. “And it shall come to pass from its abundance— New Moon to New Moon you shall keep; and from its abundance— Sabbath to Sabbath you shall keep. It [the full New Moon] shall lead all flesh to prostrate in worship, according to My chief corner [stone],” declares Yahuah.” YeshaYAH (Isaiah) 66:22-23 [The Creator’s Calendar Hebrew Word Study]
The Sacred New Moon Day
STUNNINGLY, the New Moon Day was APPOINTED as a sacred day along with the Sabbath, as detailed below. Yet, have you ever questioned why none of the modern churches, including yours, pays any attention to this Scriptural mandate?
“Thus declares the Almighty Yahuah, “the GATE of the courtyard interior facing the EAST shall be SHUT six days for work, and in the day of the SABBATH it shall be thrown open wide, and in the day of the NEW MOON it shall be thrown open wide. But come unto the exalted one, by way of the porch of the temple gate without, and stand beside the doorpost of the gate and observe the Kohenim’s (Priest’s) symbolic first and last burnt offering and symbolic Aleph and Tav peace offering. And you shall prostrate in worship upon the threshold of the open GATE, coming and going at any time, but the GATE shall not be shut until sunset. And so WORSHIPED the people of the land at the entrance way of the same GATE, in the SABBATHS and in the NEW MOON DAYS, before the face of YAHUAH.” Yechezkal (Ezekiel) 46:1-3
So there you have it, as declared by the Almighty YAHUAH Himself! The East Gate is open for sacred worship assemblies on New Moon Days and [lunar] seventh-day Sabbaths. It is closed on His six [lunar] work days.
On a side note, in the verse above, did you notice that “the GATE shall not be shut until sunset?” The DAY can’t begin at sunset every day of the month, including the Sabbath, if this is the time that the GATE is shut to end the worship period. However, if each day of the year commences at sunrise, it makes perfect sense for the GATE to be shut at sunset. According to our Creator’s Calendar model, this is only one of many examples revealing that the DAY begins at sunrise every day of the year, including the New Moon Day and the Sabbath. When Will the New Moon be Past
In the days of the prophet Amos, Yasharal (Israel) had become rebellious in their hearts, as demonstrated in Amos 8:5, but notice how it was displayed: they longed for both the SABBATH and the NEW MOON DAY to be over quickly so they could buy and sell and deceive the people with falsified weights and measures. If the NEW MOON DAY was not sacred in like manner as the SABBATH, the prophet Amos NEVER would have recorded how Yasharal (Israel) longed for BOTH days to be over, as these two Kodesh (Holy) days were seen as obstacles to their evil intentions. “Saying, ‘When will the NEW MOON be gone, that we may sell corn? and the SABBATH, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?'” Amos 8:5
Knowledge Shall Increase
You are invited to discover what men and women are finding worldwide as they seek the TRUTH as buried treasure. Their KNOWLEDGE IS INCREASING!
“. . . the time of the end: many shall run to and fro [in Scripture], and KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE INCREASED.” Daniel 12:4
So, what does this KNOWLEDGE refer to? Knowledge of the TRUTH that leads to Salvation! Lives change as they discover the truth and turn their well-groomed but false paradigms around to harmonize their soul temples with that of His. The shackles of false doctrines and traditions of men are loosed, and these are set free under the guidance of the Ruach haKodesh (promise, power, and provision of Yahuah) and His sacred truths.
All those who get victory over the Beast and his Mark will NEVER accomplish it by tenaciously clinging to Rome’s cunningly fraudulent replacement time-measuring system with its pagan holidays, as kept by the world today. No one will be saved by claiming, “We are not under the Torah Law, but under Grace,” or “All you have to do is believe.”
Instead, in metaphoric language, they will respond exactly like two magnets that draw themselves together. This is because, in His great love and compassion, our Hebrew Messiah, with a Hebrew name, “Yahusha,” died for us to equip each person with a magnetic pull toward Him. But it requires that they seek Him out and come near to Him, a process necessary for the magnetism to work. Only in drawing near will anyone develop “eyes to see and ears to hear.”
All must seek after the Most High, YHUH (YAHUAH) Alahim and His Son, YAHUSHA haMashiach (the Messiah), not simply trusting in your church organization, its Popes, presumed modern prophets, Theologians, Pastors, Rabbis, or Reformers, and their mixture of truth with error. Yahusha, our Messiah, has said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27
“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of Yahuah Alahim (God).” Revelation 15:2
Your Messiah has made every provision for you to gain victory over this beast power, which includes the Roman Christian Church and her Protestant daughters’ replacement theology and fraudulent calendars.
So, if you hear HIS voice today, do not harden your hearts, for a New Moon Day and Sabbath remain for the people of YHUH (YAHUAH) Alahim. Coming near and seeking obedience is a SIGN to Him that you are a man or woman seeking after His own heart and His eternal Kingdom (Hebrews 4:7, 9). YAHUAH has preserved His calendar, Feast Days, and sacred names as His end-time testing truths. Only those led by the Ruach haKadosh (Yahuah’s promise, power, and provision) will see the LIGHT (TRUTH) of His Torah Law and cross the line in the sand to walk in the newness of life.
