Look to the Heavens

This is a call to recognize the full moon and the heavenly lights as enduring witnesses to Yahuah’s appointed times, leading His people back to the worship rhythm established at creation.
The full moon rises, silver and bright,
A faithful witness across the night.
Hung in the heavens by Yah’s own hand,
A sign of His timing, a sacred command.
Sun, moon, and stars in their ordered place,
Declare there His wisdom, His power, His grace.
Before the kingdoms of men had begun,
The heavens were marking what Yah had done.
Chorus
Look to the heavens, the witness is there,
Written in moonlight, suspended in air.
From full moon to full moon, the rhythm remains,
Calling His people from man-made chains.
No king can erase it, no empire deny,
What Yah has established forever on high.
Follow the light, let His timing be true,
The heavens are calling His people anew.
Verse 2
The Sabbath was given, a rhythm of rest,
A sacred appointment, ordained and blessed.
Not fashioned by Caesar, not governed by Rome,
But drawn from the heavens that point us toward home.
The full moon announces the month has begun,
Then day follows day beneath moon and sun.
The count moves onward as heaven has shown,
Till the seventh-day rest of our Maker is known.
Verse 3
Egypt and Babylon, kingdoms have passed,
Rome raised her calendar, claiming it fast.
Traditions were written, and customs became
So familiar that few ever questioned their name.
But truth does not vanish when hidden from sight,
It waits to be found in the fullness of light.
The heavens still testify, silent and clear,
To those who have hearts that are willing to hear.
Bridge
What has been hidden shall come to the light,
What has been broken, Yah will make right.
Call us from pathways our fathers have known,
Back to the rhythm established at Your throne.
Moon for appointments, stars for their signs,
Heaven and Scripture together align.
Teach us to follow, teach us to see,
Not what is easy, but what You decree.
Final Chorus
Look to the heavens, the witness is there,
Written in moonlight, suspended in air.
From full moon to full moon, Your rhythm remains,
Calling Your people from Babylon’s chains.
No council can change it, no empire deny,
What Yah has established forever on high.
Follow the light, let His timing be true,
The heavens are calling His people anew.
Outro
The full moon rises, steadfast and bright,
Still bearing witness through ages of night.
And those who seek the ancient pathway will find
The Sabbath of Yah in lunar appointed time.
Blessed by this Song?
